About the Role As a Merchant Strategy & Operations Director at DoorDash, you will lead the acquisition, onboarding and early success for our merchants, owning both the strategy & execution. In this role, you’ll help acquire merchants by diversifying our go-to-market approach, ensure merchants onboard seamlessly to the DoorDash marketplace and help set them up for success. ABOUT THE TEAM The Sales Compliance team makes sure DoorDash and Deliveroo charge every merchant correctly and sell in a way that is compliant and built to scale. We own sales controls, revenue assurance, and order-to-cash (OTC) controls across the Merchant organization, from the signed contract, to how it is configured in our systems, to the charge a merchant sees. We are part of Sales Strategy & Operations, which builds the go-to-market strategies, processes, and systems that help our sales teams move faster and grow revenue across every business line. ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for a Senior Manager to lead Sales Compliance for our new and emerging businesses, and to run it like a strategy and operations business, not a checklist. You will own the strategy, roadmap, and team behind DoorDash’s sales controls: key SOX revenue controls, contract-to-system-to-charge reconciliations, and the systems, data, and processes that make compliant selling the default. Your mandate is to protect revenue and audit outcomes while making it easier, not harder, for Sales to grow. This role focuses on DoorDash’s new and emerging business lines, where products, pricing models, and contract structures are still evolving and many controls are being built for the first time. You will set the compliance foundation for these businesses as they launch and scale. About the Team The US Restaurant Team is responsible for growing the Restaurant business in the US, helping customers access the best selection on the platform, and ensuring merchants grow their sales. Specifically, the New Restaurants Models pod is building DoorDash's capability to create its own selection to fill gaps in the market and giving customers more affordable options. The team also pioneers new partnership models with restaurants in service of bringing customers the food selection they want in every neighborhood.
