Zoox is building the world's most advanced self-driving hardware and software solution, and nearly every part of it depends on moving data reliably. Sensor frames to perception, planner decisions to vehicle controls, telemetry to the cloud, and remote operator video back down again. All of it crosses process, host, and network boundaries under hard latency and reliability budgets, on a vehicle that has to keep working when a link degrades or a network gets congested. The Software Core Connectivity team owns that data path end to end: in-vehicle messaging (pub/sub, RPC, inter-process and inter-host transport), the vehicle's internal network, and vehicle-to-cloud connectivity. It also owns the transport and serialization abstractions the rest of the software organization builds on. Every one of those paths crosses a team boundary, so the work happens alongside firmware, product security, simulation, manufacturing, and IT, and those partners rely on this team for transport and networking depth to achieve their goals. As the team leader you will own the roadmap and the release commitments, and you will spend a real share of your time in those partnerships. The System Behavior Analysis team is the front line for triage of driving events and software issues from our vehicle fleet and large-scale simulation, turning that data into engineering signal. As the Technical Program Manager for System Behavior Analysis, you will sit in our Platform SW Integration organization and treat triage as a systems and data problem. Triage sits in the middle of a larger loop, from the fleet and simulation through engineering fixes to validation and release. You will partner with software development, software integration, QA, safety, product, vehicle operations and the Program Management Office. In this role, you will: Drive triage accuracy and routing. Run the triage reviews that get defects, high-severity live-service issues and safety-critical events accurately classified and routed to the downstream teams that act on them. Our System Design and Mission Assurance (SDMA) team plays a foundational role in this mission by constructing the safety case for each critical milestone. We are seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead highly cross-functional initiatives that substantiate the safety case for Zoox’s autonomous software, vehicle platform, and operations. Your work will span both real-world and virtual environments, ensuring that the autonomy stack, robot platform, and the operations meet rigorous performance, reliability, and safety requirements.
