Events Design Producer

About the Team AI will change how the world works. Human connection will shape what it becomes. OpenAI’s Events and Experiences team, part of Business Marketing, carries the critical responsibility of bringing people together around OpenAI’s mission – building artificial general intelligence that benefits all of humanity. We strive to put human benefit in the spotlight and craft experiences that build trust, spark possibility, and make the future feel within reach and exciting. We are not a traditional events team: we move with extreme speed, rigor, and precision. We use AI tools to rethink everything from the first plan to the final guest moment – and we bring grit, joy, humor, and extraordinary creative talent to create what has not existed before. About the Role We’re looking for an Experiential Producer to put OpenAI’s latest technology in people’s hands. You’ll produce experiences where people discover something they didn’t know they could do with our products, whether they’re trying ChatGPT for the first time or building with our newest developer tools. From intimate demos to global launches, cultural programs, large-scale events, booths, and brand installations, you’ll help shape how people experience OpenAI around the world. Working closely with Product, Marketing, and creative partners, you’ll take concepts through design development, fabrication, and on-site delivery. You’ll bring deep experience producing booths and custom builds, managing agencies and vendors, and working directly with fabricators to understand what’s possible within the budget and timeline. This role needs someone who can run several projects at once and stay close to the details. You’re resourceful when plans change, comfortable making decisions on your feet, and clear with the people depending on you. You take pride in producing great work and bring a sense of humor and genuine enthusiasm to the process. In this role, you will: Produce the experiences that introduce people to OpenAI’s

We’re looking for a Senior Cinematographer to define how Perplexity looks on film. Working with the Creative Director and Video Lead, you’ll translate our visual identity into a practical cinematographic language, then bring it to life across the team’s day-to-day output. This is a hands-on role. One day you’re shooting a candid office moment or executive interview with a small kit; the next, you’re leading a full camera and lighting crew on a brand film. Most of your time goes to prepping, testing, lighting, and shooting. You’ll also help build and run our in-house studio, from selecting gear and designing flexible lighting setups to keeping the space production-ready. When turnaround is tight, you’ll support media management and light editing. You’ll report to the Video Lead and work closely with the Video Producer, Brand Lead, designers, motion designers, Growth, Comms, Product Marketing, and external production partners. The Producer and Video Lead handle crewing, budgets, schedules, and logistics so you can stay focused on production and craft. However, you should think like a storyteller, not just a technician, bringing your own ideas for how to show our product and people more vividly through moodboards, shot lists, storyboards, and a willingness to experiment. What You'll Do Partner with the Creative Director and Video Lead to define and evolve Perplexity’s cinematographic language, and turn it into repeatable approaches for lighting, lensing, composition, movement, and color. Shoot and light a steady mix of day-to-day content: candid office moments, executive interviews, product demos, social, events, and documentary stories. Lead cinematography on brand films, campaigns, partnerships, and launches. Scale to the work: operate solo with a minimal kit, lead a small crew, or help build a full camera, lighting, grip, team (with help from producers). Bring storytelling ideas to the table through moodboards, shot lists, storyboards, and experimentation. Own camer

Perplexity is seeking a Director of Events to own our external events worldwide: the ones we host, the stages we speak on, and the ones we sponsor. You will set the strategy, run production, manage the budget, and build the team. If you have produced a flagship and a dinner in the same week, know what a good sponsorship deal looks like, and want to build an events function from the ground up, this role is for you. Responsibilities Own events. Hosted, speaking, sponsored. Strategy, budget, production, results. Set the calendar. Decide which events we run, which we speak at, and which we skip. Produce hosted events. Launches, dinners, summits, roadshows. Concept, programming, venue, vendors, run of show. Run the speaking program. Pick the stages. Prepare the speakers. Manage sponsorships. Negotiate terms, design our footprint, and account for the spend. Run field events with Sales. Get the right customers in the room. Make sure someone follows up. Be Perplexity. Our events should look and feel like our product. Work with Brand and Creative on every one. Lead the team. Equal parts IC and manager. Build the system. Playbooks, event tiers, intake, vendors, agencies, budgets. Measure. Attendance, coverage, pipeline, signups. Know which events worked and stop doing the ones that didn't. Be on site. For the events that matter, you are in the room. Qualifications 12+ years producing events, including large hosted events, sponsorships, and field programs, ideally in-house at a technology company. Has built or led an events team. Has owned large budgets, agency relationships, and vendor contracts. Has negotiated sponsorships and knows a bad deal when they see one. Drives measurement. Has built event attribution and tracked brand sentiment, and reports what each event returned. Can partner with Sale

We believe that the way people interact with their finances will drastically improve in the next few years. We’re dedicated to empowering this transformation by building the tools and experiences that thousands of developers use to create their own products. Plaid powers the tools millions of people rely on to live a healthier financial life. We work with thousands of companies like Venmo, SoFi, several of the Fortune 500, and many of the largest banks to make it easy for people to connect their financial accounts to the apps and services they want to use. Plaid’s network covers 12,000 financial institutions across the US, Canada, UK and Europe. Founded in 2013, the company is headquartered in San Francisco with offices in New York, Seattle, Washington D.C., Raleigh, London, and Amsterdam. We're looking for a Creative Producer to manage the end-to-end production of creative work across Plaid's marketing and brand campaigns, from paid ad content and growth marketing assets, to event activations, to partner and customer marketing deliverables. This role partners closely with marketing, brand, and design to keep creative work moving: intake is clear, timelines are realistic, quality bars are met, and nothing falls through the cracks between "we need this" and "it's shipped." You thrive on variety. One week you might be managing production for a paid digital campaign, the next coordinating creative for an on-site event activation. This is an execution-focused role: you take defined project plans and briefs and run them with rigor, using sound judgment on day-to-day production decisions while partnering with your manager/stakeholders on more ambiguous or higher-stakes calls. Responsibilities Manage production for paid marketing campaigns, coordinating asset creation, timelines, and approvals across creative and marketing stakeholders Support partner and customer marketing projects, producing creative deliverables that meet both brand standards and partner/customer requir

RDQ427R630 This role is in-person and Bay-Area-based by design, so you can be in the room with founders and investors. At Databricks, we are obsessed with enabling data teams to solve the world's toughest problems, from security threat detection to cancer drug development. We do this by building and running the world's best data and AI infrastructure platform, so our customers can focus on the high-value challenges central to their missions. Founded in 2013 by the original creators of Apache Spark™, Databricks has grown from a tiny corner office in Berkeley, CA, to a global organization with over 11,000 employees. Thousands of organizations, from small startups to Fortune 100, trust Databricks with their mission-critical workloads, making us one of the fastest-growing SaaS companies in the world and one of the top 5 most valuable private companies. About the Role: Databricks works with founders from the earliest days of their companies, when it is still just a team, an idea, and a lot of unproven AI. The Technical Business Development Manager for the Startup and VC Ecosystem owns the operational engine and the relationships behind that work, and the role is technical. You will run our startup program day to day, sit across from early-stage founders and talk seriously about their AI systems, produce a steady cadence of founder and investor events in San Francisco, and work hand in hand with the events teams at the venture firms whose founders we most want to reach. You will work closely with Databricks Ventures. This role is built to grow: you will start close to the program, the founders, and the events, and over time, take on more of the relationships and the strategy for how Databricks engages the startup ecosystem end-to-end. This role asks for four things that rarely sit in one person: the discipline of an operator who tracks every applicant and commitment without dropping one, the hands of a builder who is genuinely fluent in AI and can talk to a founder as a p
