About the role We are seeking an Exercise Physiologist or Metabolic Technician to become a part of our travel team! You will focus on providing high-quality patient care as a PRN contractor. Our patients are first responders/law enforcement enrolled in a cardiac wellness program with screening locations around the country. Dates can be scheduled in advance for those looking for extra income or flexible PRN work. Projects range from a few days to a couple of weeks; request dates and locations of your choosing! Our teams work throughout the continental US. This opportunity requires travel for all available shifts. What you'll do Travel to location of screening Station setup/breakdown Conduct cardiometabolic testing with sub max EKG stress tests Maintain accurate EHR records Collect vital signs (blood pressure and heart rate) Equipment maintenance and inventory Qualifications Previous experience as an Exercise Physiologist or Metabolic Technician Experience conducting stress tests and/or VO2 max testing Ability to build rapport with patients Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Excellent verbal communication skills Ability to work/travel at least one week per month (if shifts are available) Preferred Qualifications: Degree in exercise physiology sciences or related field ACSM Certified Exercise Physiologist (ACSM-EP) Ability to travel ~2 weeks/month Compensation: $30-35/hour Travel stipend All travel expenses paid for TeleMed2U is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to providing a workplace that is inclusive and free of discrimination.
