Role Overview The Quality Control Intern – Hardware is the checkpoint every recording rig passes through, in both directions. When rigs return from the field, you inspect their condition, run a functional check, and capture a short test recording that you review to confirm the cameras, footage, audio, and storage are all working. Before any rig goes back out, you give the final sign-off that it is field-ready. This is a small role with an outsized impact: a rig that leaves your desk in a bad state means a Field Officer travels to a business, records for hours, and returns with unusable or missing data — a full day lost, and sometimes a burned business relationship. Your job is to make sure that never happens. Precision, consistency, and discipline are the whole game here. What You'll Own Nothing goes to field without your approval; nothing comes back without your inspection and log. You are the last line of defense on rig quality before it reaches a business. Role Overview An Internal Coordinator (IC) owns the day-to-day running of field data collection for a single region. Each IC leads a team of Field Officers (FOs) who carry recording rigs(hardware) into partner businesses, set them up correctly, and capture high-quality task recordings. The IC is the operational nerve center of the region: planning the day's pipeline, keeping FOs productive in the field, solving problems live, ensuring recording quality and diversity rules are met, tracking inventory (rigs and SD cards) in and out, and reporting hours planned vs. achieved with clear loss reasons at end of day. Senior Mechanical Engineer — Robotics Hardware Location - Bangalore Instawork Robotics Labs is building Instacore, our proprietary five-camera and IMU wearable capture rig. Hundreds of units operate across India every day, collecting real-world data used to train frontier Physical AI models. We are looking for a senior, mechanically focused engineer to own the complete hardware lifecycle for Instacore and future hardware products. This person will independently lead design, prototyping, manufacturing, testing, deployment, logistics, maintenance, and continuous improvement.
