Job description
Under the supervision of the Aquatics Director, this position is responsible for the supervision and management of all facets of the competitive swimming program at the YMCA of Greater Boston. *Must have active Lifeguard Certifications. (ex. YMCA, Red Cross) ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES/PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES: 1. Develop, implement, and oversee competitive swimming program. 2. Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate all paid and volunteer coaches and/or administrators as programs dictate and budget guidelines allow. 3.Ensure that all staff have appropriate and updated certifications on file. 4. Monitor program registrations and participant records. 5.Ensure quality and technical consistency throughout programming and across coaches. 6. Complete YMCA and USA swimming team registrations as required yearly. 7. Write and implement workouts for each practice. 8. Maintain up to date records. 9. Organ
