Position: HR Manager Labour Compliance & Employee Relations (reporting to senior management) Location: Surat, Gujarat Employment Type: Full-Time (Work from Office) Experience: 1 3 years of relevant HR experience, with independent handling of labour laws and compliance, preferably in manufacturing or labour-intensive industries.

Key Responsibilities • Ensure full compliance with applicable labour laws (Factories Act, central/state rules) and maintain statutory records and filings. • Serve as Labour Welfare Officer for factory workforce (500+ employees) and liaise with government authorities and legal advisors. • Manage employee relations: grievance resolution, disciplinary processes, and workplace investigations. • Oversee payroll coordination and statutory deductions, ensuring accuracy and compliance. • Develop and implement HR policies, safety programs, and employee welfare initiatives. • Coordinate and respond to inspections, audits, and notices issued by labour authorities. • Support HR strategy: hiring for scale, retention measures, and performance management.

Qualifications & Requirements • Education: Master’s Degree in Labour Studies / Human Resource Management, or Diploma in Labour Laws from a UGC-recognized institution. • Experience: 1 3 years of hands-on HR experience in manufacturing or labour-intensive environments.

Key Skills: • In-depth knowledge of Indian labour laws and regulatory compliance. • Experience in large-scale workforce management. • Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. • Ability to interact effectively with government authorities and legal professionals.
