1. Job Title Inpatient Pharmacist (IP Pharmacist) Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates Department: Pharmacy / Clinical Pharmacy Reports to: Pharmacy Manager / Chief Pharmacist 2. Job Summary The Inpatient Pharmacist is responsible for providing pharmaceutical care to hospitalized patients by reviewing medication orders, verifying prescriptions, dispensing medications, monitoring drug therapy, and collaborating with physicians and nurses to promote patient safety and optimal clinical outcomes. 3. Key Responsibilities and Duties Review and verify inpatient medication orders for accuracy, appropriate dosage, frequency, route, and duration. Check for drug interactions, contraindications, allergies, therapeutic duplication, and medication-related problems.
