Bachelor’s degree in applicable engineering or science disciplines; advanced degree an asset Must have advanced Excel skills (examples are pivot tables, lookups, data reconciliation) Exceptional technical writing, editing, and communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear, concise, and defensible technical reports and documentation Must have valid driver’s license in good standing and ability to travel occasionally Additional qualifications considered an asset: Relevant experience in greenhouse gas (GHG) quantification, verification, validation, or technical research Experience with Environmental Management Systems such as ISO 14064 or 14065 Completed external auditing course such as CSA’s 14064-3, 14064-2, or 14001 Relevant professional designation, particularly P.Eng. or Auditor Experience with the regulatory regimes of Alberta (the Technology Innovation and Emissions Reduction Regulation), British Columbia (BC OBPS) and Ontario (Regulation 390/18 and 241/19) Experience reviewing large datasets and identifying anomalies Ability to trace reported values back to source records Experience with developing emission inventories Candidates should also possess: Strong people an
