Role overview
Job description
In deze functie onderzoek je hoe accountantsorganisaties de kwaliteit van hun werk waarborgen. Daarbij kijk je verder dan alleen financiële informatie. Je onderzoekt hoe zij hun processen, beleid en interne controles hebben ingericht om die kwaliteit te bewaken. Ook verdiep je je in gedrag en cultuur, fraude, technologie (AI) en andere actuele risico’s en ontwikkelingen binnen de accountancysector. Je wordt opgeleid tot toezichthouder en werkt mee aan uiteenlopende onderzoeken en projecten. Hierbij word je begeleidt door ervaren collega’s die je leren hoe je risico’s herkent, analyseert en bespreekbaar maakt. De accountancysector is voortdurend in beweging door nieuwe regelgeving, marktontwikkelingen en technologie.
