Qualification
LL.B. (3-year or 5-year) from a recognized university; enrolled with the Bar Council of India. 2 to 4 years of post-qualification experience in corporate/transactional practice at a corporate law firm, or equivalent in-house experience. Demonstrated experience drafting and negotiating SHAs, SSAs, SPAs, and documentation for debt and equity instruments. Working knowledge of data protection and privacy law, with practical experience drafting privacy policies, DPAs, or advising on data compliance frameworks. Strong experience in contract management — drafting, negotiating, and maintaining a range of commercial agreements. Sound understanding of corporate law (Companies Act, 2013), FEMA/exchange control basics, and general transaction mechanics. Excellent drafting and negotiation skills, with the ability to work directly with business teams and external counsel. Ability to manage multiple transactions/contracts concurrently and work independently under deadlines. Prior experience in a corporate/M&A team at a law firm, or an in-house legal/transactions team handling a similar deal mix.
