In this role, you will support labor and employment legal matters across the Asia-Pacific region, including Taiwan, China, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, and India. You will partner closely with Human Resources, Employee Relations, business leaders, and other legal professionals to provide practical, business-focused legal guidance that supports Micron's people strategy and business objectives while managing legal and employee relations risk. About the role We’re looking for a Developer to join our Internal IT team and help us scale the impact we have across the company. Over the past two years, teams across HR, Finance, Legal, Sales, Growth, and Admin have built and shipped their own internal tools — most of them initiated by non-engineering colleagues using AI coding tools, with light support from IT. It’s worked well, but our capacity to support this is now the bottleneck. This role exists to fix that. Roughly half your time will go to building and maintaining internal systems yourself, and the other half to being the technical backstop for colleagues building their own tools — stepping in where they get stuck, and turning “it works” into “it’s production-ready.” We expect this role’s output to be produced largely through AI coding agents. We’re not looking for someone who has tried an AI tool — we’re looking for someone whose day-to-day work has already been reshaped by one. ABOUT THE ROLE The Product Safety and Compliance Engineer supports Peloton's global Technical Product Safety and Regulatory Compliance organization by ensuring components and finished connected fitness equipment sourced from Taiwan and China meet Peloton's safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Based in Taichung, Taiwan, this position serves as Peloton's on-the-ground technical resource for its Asia-based supply chain, requiring up to 30% travel. This role works cross-functionally with Product, Design, Engineering, Global Quality, Legal, and Regulatory Affairs teams to ensure all products are safe, legally compliant, and certification-ready for global markets.This position places a strong emphasis on scalable processes, proactive pre-certification testing, root-cause analysis, and preventive action. Using structured methodologies such as 8D, the Engineer is expected to lead compliance strategies during product development and sustaining activities, resolve the underlying causes of supplier safety issues, and prevent recurrence, rather than applying reactive, short-term fixes. The engineer will also help drive initiatives that elevate product safety beyond baseline regulations throughout the entire product lifecycle.
