TITLE : Localization Specialist - German LOCATION: Madrid DEPT: Global Localization COMPANY: 2K (Take-Two Interactive) TYPE: Full-Time, Executive Level What We Need As part of 2K’s evolving Global Loc 2.0 strategy , we are expanding our in-house localization team to elevate linguistic quality and cultural authenticity across our game portfolio. We are seeking a Linguistic Specialist, German to support the translation, editing, and validation of localized content in German, while gaining hands-on experience with localization tools, pipelines, and cross-functional collaboration. This is an entry-level, individual contributor role designed to support early-career linguists and translators looking to grow in the game localization industry. You’ll work under the guidance of senior language leads and localization producers to help ensure accurate and player-relevant content in a structured and supportive environment. WHAT YOU’LL DO Translate or edit in-game text, UI strings, and basic marketing content from English into natural, culturally appropriate German Follow established style guides, glossaries, and tone-of-voice documentation to maintain consistency Collaborate with senior linguists and QA to review linguistic bugs, provide clarifications, and contribute to resolutions Assist in terminology verification and contribute to updates of language resources under guidance Participate in localization test passes for your language and help flag basic lan
