Background The Hans Foundation (THF), established in 2009, is a Public Charitable Trust working towards creating an equitable society and enhancing the quality of life for all through the empowerment of marginalized and underprivileged communities in India. THF primarily focuses on the health and well-being of remote and underserved populations, with a special emphasis on children, women, and persons with disabilities. In addition, THF also works towards holistic development in the areas of Education and Livelihood. Our two-fold strategy involves: Working within Aspirational Districts and regions with a high poverty index across the North, North-East, and East India.
