What Impact You'll Have GRVTY is seeking an Imagery Scientist to join our Charlottesville, VA team. The candidate will work alongside community experts to advance applications within the field of persistent infrared remote sensing. In this role, you will exploit persistent infrared data to detect, characterize, and report events, separating real signatures from background clutter and false alarms. What You'll be Owning Partner with scientists and engineers to develop new, and modernize existing algorithms, tools, and methodologies for exploitation of Persistent Infrared (PIR) data Conduct 2 nd and 3 rd phase exploitation of OPIR and other EO/IR sensor data to detect, track, and characterize events in support of ground forces intelligence requirements Review OPIR processed data, sensor metadata, and collection geometry to determine data quality Fuse OPIR with EO, SAR, MSI/HSI, and multi-I
