Quality Engineer – Job Description Position: Quality Engineer Department: Quality Assurance / Quality Control Reports To: Quality Manager / QA Head Key Responsibilities • Inspect incoming raw material, in-process and finished castings. • Perform dimensional, visual and surface inspection of castings. • Maintain inspection reports and quality records. • Coordinate with Production, Melting and Core Shop for quality control. • Support customer and third-party inspections. • Follow daily quality plans and inspection schedules. • Identify defects and report non-conformances. • Assist in trial runs and new product quality approvals. Quality & Safety • Ensure castings meet customer drawings and specifications. • Follow PPE usage and shop-floor safety procedures. • Support quality audits and safety training programs.
