Job description
Vast is developing next-generation space stations and space infrastructure using an incremental, hardware-rich, and low-cost approach. Vast is rapidly developing its multi-module Haven Station to ensure a continuous human presence in space for America and its allies, enabling advanced microgravity research and manufacturing, and unlocking a new space economy for government, corporate, and private customers. Haven Demo’s 2025 success made Vast the only operational commercial space station company to fly and operate its own spacecraft. Next, Haven-1 is expected to become the world’s first commercial space station when it launches in 2027, followed by additional Haven modules. A minimum of 3 years of experience in equal or related field in receiving or Avionics inspection of aerospace components Ability to read, interpret, and work to blueprints, drawings, and process and design specifications Experience doing First Article Inspections and Source Inspections Experience inspecting solder, crimping, conformal coating, staking, and surface mounted devices in accordance with NASA 8739 and/or IPC-J-STD-001, IPC-A-610 standards Wire harness experience in accordance with NASA-STD-8739.3 and 8739.4 and/or IPC-A-620 standards Experience with performing electronic testing and inspection using portable measuring devices Perform detailed in-process and final inspections on complex flight hardware, including PCB assemblies, custom harnesses, rack/panel assemblies, and integrated systems Preferred Skills &
