Job Title

Sales Leader – Ultrasound Sweden & Scandinavia

Job Description

Do you have a passion for healthcare technology, a strong commercial mindset, and the ambition to lead and develop a high-performing sales organization? This is your opportunity to take a leading role in driving the growth of Philips Ultrasound in Sweden, while contributing to strategic commercial initiatives across Scandinavia.

We are looking for an experienced and entrepreneurial Sales Leader who combines people leadership with hands-on sales responsibility. You will lead and develop the Swedish ultrasound sales team, manage your own strategic customer accounts, and support the development of our indirect channel partnerships in Denmark and Norway. Are you a commercially driven leader who enjoys developing people, building customer relationships, and turning strategy into results? Then this could be the next step in your career!

Your role:

  • Lead and develop the Swedish Ultrasound sales team, coaching and empowering account managers and commercial specialists to deliver strong business results.
  • Drive sales growth and market share development in Sweden, taking ownership of commercial performance, sales targets, and execution of the country business strategy.
  • Manage your own portfolio of strategic customer accounts, actively driving customer relationships, sales opportunities, negotiations, and commercial closure.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans, building strong relationships with clinical decision-makers, hospital management, and procurement stakeholders.
  • Support strategic commercial initiatives in Denmark and Norway, working closely with existing indirect channel partners to accelerate growth and develop business opportunities.
  • Lead complex sales opportunities, including public tenders, framework agreements, competitive displacement, and larger hospital projects.
  • Drive commercial excellence, ensuring strong pipeline management, accurate forecasting, structured opportunity follow-up, and clear commercial priorities.
  • Strengthen cross-functional collaboration, working closely with clinical application specialists, service teams, and other Philips businesses to deliver customer-focused solutions.
  • Build a high-performance culture, fostering accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and entrepreneurial ownership within the team.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

  • Have 5+ years of experience in medical technology sales, preferably within ultrasound, diagnostic imaging, or healthcare equipment.
  • Bring proven sales leadership experience, with the ability to coach, motivate, and develop commercial teams.
  • Have a strong track record in direct account management, strategic customer development, and delivering commercial results.
  • Have experience with public tenders, complex sales cycles, and hospital procurement processes.
  • Demonstrate strong commercial acumen, including sales forecasting, pipeline management, and business development.
  • Have experience working with indirect channel partners or distributors – this is an advantage.
  • Are an entrepreneurial, hands-on leader who combines strategic thinking with operational execution.
  • Have excellent communication, relationship management, and negotiation skills.
  • Are fluent in Swedish and English; other Scandinavian languages are an advantage.
  • Are based in Southern Sweden or Copenhagen and are willing to travel regularly across Sweden and Scandinavia.
