Senior Acoustic Consultant (Scientist/Engineer)

Qualification

Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Acoustical, Civil, Architectural Acoustics Engineering or Environmental Engineering, or a related technical discipline, preferably with focus on acoustics, noise and/or vibration. Minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience in Building and/or Environmental Acoustics. Demonstrated experience in acoustic design, environmental noise and vibration engineering and relevant instrument operation. In depth understanding of noise guidelines, noise modelling techniques, and calculations. Experience with the use of industry standard building acoustics modelling and prediction software (e.g. INSUL, ODEON, CATT-Acoustic, etc.). Track record of developing and maintaining excellent working relationships with clients. Ability to successfully meet schedules and control costs. Demonstrated initiative, independent problem-solving methods/capabilities, exceptional coordination and consultation skills. An ability to work in a fast-paced consulting environment to provide practical solutions with minimal supervision, while multi-tasking in meeting deadlines.
