Qualification
Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience or 6+ years equivalent combination of experience in related field. Skills, education (including other relevant non-traditional degree programs, certifications, or job training programs) preferred. Professional certifications such as CISSP, AZ-500/AWS Certified Security – Specialty, BSCP or equivalents are highly desirable. Experience as a cyber security engineer, system administrator, or system/cloud engineer is desired. Strong knowledge of security technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and endpoint protection software and business systems (i.e. M365/Google). Experience with cloud security (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Experience with Web application security testing is desired. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, NIST, and ISO). Familiarity with software development practices and scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, bash, Terraform) for task automation
