The Opportunity at Altana The Cloud Engineering team is hiring a Senior Engineering Manager to lead the group that owns Altana's regulated and sovereign environments. These are the accredited, compliance-constrained deployments our government customers run on, including our FedRAMP environments and dedicated sovereign clusters. You will report to the Senior Director of Platform Engineering and lead a team of three to four engineers across the US, UK, and Australia. The usual playbook does not apply here. Connectivity and automation are constrained and accreditation obligations shape engineering decisions well before anyone opens a design doc. Your job is to make this domain work like a platform instead of a set of individual builds, so that each new accredited environment launches faster than the one before it, and so product teams can keep shipping without having to absorb the regulatory complexity themselves. Your Responsibilities Own the architecture and operation of our regulated and sovereign environments across AWS and Azure, along with the IaC (Infrastructure-as-Code), Kubernetes, and release tooling beneath them Lead the standardization of environment builds into a repeatable blueprint, so the number of environments can grow without headcount growing with it Make sure critical technical decisions in the domain are sound, through design review, RFCs, prototypes, and whiteboard sessions, and hold the quality bar on what the team ships Stay close to the work with hands-on engineering of your own, usually operational tooling or greenfield projects Work with our Security and Compliance team to embed secure-by-default patterns across your environments and make control evidence a routine output of how the team works Keep accreditations healthy, with vulnerability remediation insi

The Opportunity at Altana Altana is looking for a Principal Platform Engineer to be the technical authority for the platform our products run on. This is a senior individual contributor role, reporting to the Senior Director of Platform Engineering, for someone who steers architecture across organizational boundaries rather than inside one team's backlog. We operate a broad estate. Multi-cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure, a multi-tenant commercial platform, accredited environments including FedRAMP and IRAP, and dedicated sovereign deployments for national customers. The architecture that holds those together determines how fast every product team can ship, how quickly a new customer comes online, and what our infrastructure costs. You will set the direction for it, and you will have real white space to go after the problems you judge to be the most consequential. The Opportunity at Altana As we scale our logistics business, we are hiring a Senior Sales Engineer to be the technical lead on Altana’s work with logistics service providers and customs brokers. Following our acquisition of Cervo, our product surface now spans transaction screening, shared product catalog, duty calculation, post-entry audit, and agentic entry writing, and the deals that win are the ones where someone can map a broker’s actual entry-writing workflow today, show them what it looks like on Altana, and prove the integration path is real. You’ll own that work: demos, solution design, architecture conversations, and the technical narrative that carries a deal from first call to signed order form. You’ll partner closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Implementation, and act as the voice of the customer back to our product and engineering teams. Freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers, and 3PLs touch millions of shipments and connect shippers, suppliers, and governments. The LSP Platform team builds the products that enable keeping up with the rapid pace of government regulation, and modernizing the business processes by engaging in Altana's network. With these tools, LSPs can run a fully agentic, collaborative and cutting edge customs process covering everything needed to screen and clear shipments faster, protect their customers from risk and delays, and offer new trade intelligence services to the shippers they serve. About the Role As Senior Product Manager for the LSP Platform, you'll own the roadmap for one of Altana's most strategic product areas. You'll work directly with some of the world's largest logistics companies to understand how goods move, where compliance and risk create friction, and how Altana can remove it.
