The Opportunity at Altana The Engineering team is responsible for building out the platforms, API’s, services, workflows, and logical architectures for bringing this vision to life. We are creating a platform fundamentally driven by AI, which scales to a massive trove of data, and a diverse customer base; it is a complex system that will stretch engineering in many directions. You’ll work closely with our Data Scientists on projects to analyze and observe world-scale datasets, write code that can scale to produce never-before-seen insights, and construct APIs to deliver our product vision. Your Responsibilities Ingest product requirements, define technical requirements, and design practical, iterative technology designs that achieve our product and technical goals. Work with your product manager to develop implementation plans against our technical product roadmaps. Personally maintain, develop, and deploy our customer facing workflows to create and support our overall product architecture. Analyze and propose technical solutions to invent, enable, and enhance our product offerings. Be responsible for automating, testing, and deploying your own and your team’s work. Review the code and technical designs authored by your team members, and hold a high bar for quality. Mentor developers and help them level up their skills. Be responsible for the technical excellence of day-to-day work of a team of engineers and ensure that the team’s deliverables are maturing along the defined roadmap. The Opportunity at Altana As we scale our logistics business, we are hiring a Senior Sales Engineer to be the technical lead on Altana’s work with logistics service providers and customs brokers. Following our acquisition of Cervo, our product surface now spans transaction screening, shared product catalog, duty calculation, post-entry audit, and agentic entry writing, and the deals that win are the ones where someone can map a broker’s actual entry-writing workflow today, show them what it looks like on Altana, and prove the integration path is real. You’ll own that work: demos, solution design, architecture conversations, and the technical narrative that carries a deal from first call to signed order form. You’ll partner closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Implementation, and act as the voice of the customer back to our product and engineering teams. This is a high-leverage hire on a fast-moving vertical. The Opportunity at Altana The Cloud Engineering team is hiring a Senior Engineering Manager to lead the group that owns Altana's regulated and sovereign environments. These are the accredited, compliance-constrained deployments our government customers run on, including our FedRAMP environments and dedicated sovereign clusters. You will report to the Senior Director of Platform Engineering and lead a team of three to four engineers across the US, UK, and Australia. The usual playbook does not apply here. Connectivity and automation are constrained and accreditation obligations shape engineering decisions well before anyone opens a design doc. Your job is to make this domain work like a platform instead of a set of individual builds, so that each new accredited environment launches faster than the one before it, and so product teams can keep shipping without having to absorb the regulatory complexity themselves. Freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers, and 3PLs touch millions of shipments and connect shippers, suppliers, and governments. The LSP Platform team builds the products that enable keeping up with the rapid pace of government regulation, and modernizing the business processes by engaging in Altana's network. With these tools, LSPs can run a fully agentic, collaborative and cutting edge customs process covering everything needed to screen and clear shipments faster, protect their customers from risk and delays, and offer new trade intelligence services to the shippers they serve. About the Role As Senior Product Manager for the LSP Platform, you'll own the roadmap for one of Altana's most strategic product areas. You'll work directly with some of the world's largest logistics companies to understand how goods move, where compliance and risk create friction, and how Altana can remove it.
