Job description
Job Overview We’re looking for an Encounter Designer to help shape the next generation of event modes for World of Tanks at Wargaming. As a senior member of the event team, you will define and champion the combat experience and encounter philosophy behind our seasonal and limited-time modes. What will you do? Act as the bridge that connects player combat, enemy combat, and level design teams. Own and advocate for the full combat experience, making sure player abilities, enemy behaviour, and encounter design fit together into engaging gameplay. Design, prototype, and refine player combat systems, enemy mechanics, encounters, and moment-to-moment gameplay. Set up combat and encounter design frameworks, standards, and best practices so that several feature teams can build at scale.
