Job description
We are looking for a Senior Legal Counsel – an in-house generalist who owns legal projects end-to-end, from framework design down to forms and filings and ensure that legal work is implemented effectively in day-to-day business operations. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING: Act as a legal generalist and key partner to internal teams – compliance, operations, finance, technology Own regulatory implementation projects: internal policies, compliance frameworks (including DORA in Malta), ongoing regulatory reporting Lead legal side of new market entry: entity setup, licensing, engagement with local regulators and consultants Draft and negotiate commercial agreements, including complex non-standard contracts in new markets Advise on employment and HR matters across multiple legal entities, including labour law and employment-related contracts Manage external counsels where specialist advice is needed WHAT
