The Role The Senior Project Engineer for Voyager’s Strategic Systems line of business is responsible for leading the end-to-end execution of solid rocket motor design and manufacturing programs — from concept through qualification — ensuring delivery on cost, schedule, and technical performance commitments; Essential Functions In this role, the essential functions are: Lead execution of solid rocket motor design and manufacturing programs from proposal through qualification, owning/reporting schedule, cost (via earned value management principles), and technical performance from day one; Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Aerospace, or closely related science or engineering field with 7 years of combined technical engineering and project engineering or project management experience OR 11 years of combined experience in lieu of a degree
