Job Title: Senior Technical Accountant Location | Remote Time Zone | US Time Zones (EST–PST) Role Overview: We are seeking a senior-level Technical Accountant with hands-on US GAAP experience to join a growing finance team. This is not a general accounting role — we need someone who has directly prepared or reviewed lease accounting under ASC 842 and supported 409A valuations and stock-based compensation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically strong, and comfortable serving as a primary point of contact for external auditors on complex accounting areas. Qualification
5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in US GAAP environments - Direct, demonstrable ASC 842 experience (implementation or ongoing compliance, not theoretical) (non-negotiable) - Exposure to 409A valuations and/or ASC 718 stock-based compensation accounting - Public accounting background (Big Four or large regional firm) or experience at a US company or startup - Advanced English (C1+), comfortable in daily communication with US stakeholders - Strong Excel skills and proficiency in a major ERP (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks) - Must have prior remote work experience, be fluent with remote collaboration tools and platforms (such as Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, Asana, or similar), and have ideally worked with US or UK-based companies.
