Slitter Operator - Baltimore , MD

Job Summary   The Slitter Operator is responsible for the slitting/rewinding, inspection and data collection of finished product being sent to Finished Goods, while consistently meeting Company demands and specifications.     Duties and Responsibilities   1.    Ensure daily activities are conducted at all times in a safe and proper manner.   2.    Working overtime as workload, personnel schedules or Customer demands suggest.   3.    Assist in maintaining the work area in a clean and orderly condition.   4.    Assist in organizing and maintaining supply inventories related to the finishing department.   5.    Set up equipment, or review previous shifts set up, based on job specifications, to meet appropriate requirements of the finished label.   6.    Monitor and maintain a quality inventory of top and bottom knives and spacers.  Notify the Supervisor as parts need repair/replacement.   7
