Job description
Key Responsibilities: 1. Substation Operation & Monitoring Ensure uninterrupted operation of the 220/33 kV pooling substation, including transformers, switchgear, protection systems, and SCADA. Monitor equipment parameters and performance in real-time using SCADA/RTU systems. Coordinate with SLDC/ALDC for load flow, grid synchronization, and outage scheduling. 2. Preventive & Corrective Maintenance Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules (transformers, CBs, isolators, CTs/PTs, LA, batteries, etc.) as per OEM and grid norms. Carry out condition monitoring and diagnostics – oil testing, DGA, thermography, contact resistance measurement, etc. Troubleshoot and restore systems during faults/breakdowns with minimum downtime. 3. Transmission Line O&M Inspect transmission lines (patrolling, thermography, tower foundation health, insulator checking). Execute maintenance jobs like tighte
