Job description
Summary/Objective The Staff Accountant will play a key role in supporting the company’s financial operations through accurate and timely accounting, reporting, and compliance activities. This position is responsible for assisting with the month-end close process, maintaining account reconciliations, and supporting various tax and regulatory filings. Essential Functions General Accounting Duties Assist with monthly close, including journal entries and account reconciliations Prepare and maintain schedules for balance sheet accounts Support preparation of internal financial reports and variance analysis Collaborate across departments to ensure financial accuracy and timely data flow Help identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy Business Licenses Prepare and file license applications and annual renewals as needed Maintain an organized tracker of activ
