We are looking for Layout Design engineer at our Micron Technology’s HBM Team in Hyderabad, India. As a Layout Design engineer, you will be working for intensive applications such as artificial intelligence and high performance computing solution, High Bandwidth Memory. As a Layout Design Engineer you will be collaborating with peer teams crossing Micron global footprint, in a multiple projects-based environment. Role and Responsibilities Responsible for Design and development of critical Design and Co-optimization objectives, mixed-signal, custom digital block and full chip level integration support. Build and tapeout PWF Reticles Design Engage with Scribe Design team to capture Advanced Packaging requirements and Review TSV design engagement with HIG-HBM DTPCO teams (electrical , thermal and mechanical performance) Creation and Maintenance of DFMEA related to advanced packaging process steps like PWF, die stacking etc Highly motivated with passion, detail oriented, systematic and methodical approach in IC layout design Perform layout verification

Automation Execution & Support: ·Support site automation systems such as AMHS, ASRS, AGVs, conveyors, and material tracking tools to ensure stable operations. ·Complete assigned automation tasks under defined scope with engineer, following site and global standards. ·Act as a key contributor during system installation, commissioning, ramp, and sustain phases. Project Participation: ·Support automation project execution including checklist execution, and on-site activities . ·Participate in FAT, SAT, UAT, and system buyoff activities , ensuring issues are identified, tracked, and resolved. ·Execute defined work packages within larger automation projects. Cross‑Functional Coordination: ·Work closely with Facilities, Manufacturing, IT/MES, Warehouse, and Equipment Engineering teams to support automation deployment. ·Interface with vendors and OEMs for issue resolution, testing, and clarification of requirements. · Collaborate with team members, including engineers and maintenance staff, to identify opportunities for system improvements and upgrades, including AI-enabled and agentic solutions for process optimization . Troubleshooting & Sustainment: ·Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis of automation system issues impacting material movement. ·Performing corrective and preventive actions to improve system reli

Complete ownership of verification and end to end analysis of complex block level custom designs with advanced low power and power management technologies spread across multiple categories such as DDR5, LPDDR5, DDR6 and LPDDR6 that are capable of operating at high speeds of up to 11,4000MT/s. Staff-Level Expectations: At the Staff level, engineers are expected to: Lead verification efforts for strategic IPs and complex subsystems. Influence verification methodology across projects. Mentor junior engineers and drive verification quality, productivity, and innovation. Provide technical leadership across geographically distributed teams. Ability to lead team, guide and set the direction for the verification effort for any project that the team undertakes. Define roadmap and future scope of verification methodologies. Roles and Responsibilities: Understand design specifications and define verification scope, strategy, and plans for block/chip RTL verification Develop, execute, and maintain verification testbenches and test vectors using digital simulation tools and methodologies (SV-UVM) Run directed and constrained-random tests and regressions; analyze results and triage failures. Close verification metrics (functional coverage / code coverage as applicable) and identify verification holes to demonstrate readiness toward tapeout

As a Photolithography Engineer at Micron, you will be responsible to tackle critical lithography scribe challenges for memory devices. In this position, you will be responsible for supporting work for the photolithography team. This includes modeling to support optical simulation related to scribe mark, provide mark design recommendations, identifying root causes for sophisticated problems, and providing simulation training for other photolithography engineers. You will also define and lead projects to address photolithography performance gaps on current and future memory and storage nodes. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Understand the technology challenges with respect to overlay and establish project plans to address them for the N, N+1, and N+2 nodes. Work with vendor applications teams to find areas for overlay scribe improvement. Drive technical innovation in your area of expertise as a recognized Micron expert in your field. Standardize methods and procedures across area, department and/or FABs. Define and lead sophisticated, multi-disciplinary projects that are essential to Micron’s photolithography roadmap. Help to craft strategic decisions. Work with process development engineers on issues and projects related to photolithography. Guide and set the direction for the verification effort within your areas of expertise in any project that the team undertakes. Provide verification support to design projects by simulating, analyzing, and debugging pre-silicon full chip designs. Develop Test cases/Stimulus to increase the functional coverage for all DRAM and emerging memory architectures and features. Participate in developing verification methodology and verification environments for sophisticated products. Co-work with international colleagues on developing new verification flows to take on the challenges in design. Develop and maintain test benches and test vectors using simulation tools and run regressions for coverage analysis and improvements. Ability to identify verification pain points suitable for AI-based automation and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deploy scalable solutions.
