About the role Millions of people use the Affirm Card, but we don’t yet give them a reason to keep coming back beyond the product itself. You’ll build our consumer loyalty program from scratch: what people earn, how they move up, and why Affirm becomes their default way to pay. What you’ll do Own the vision and roadmap for Affirm’s consumer loyalty program, setting the hypotheses, success metrics, and sequencing across multiple quarters Launch the first version of rewards and tiers, including earn mechanics, member benefits, redemption, and the surfaces that make the value obvious in app, at checkout, and after a purchase Build the engagement loops (progress, milestones, personalized offers) that turn a one-time borrower into someone who reaches for Affirm every week Own the program economics: reward liability, funding mix across merchant-funded offers, interchange and network incentives, and the case for incremental GMV against cost per member Set up the measurement foundation for loyalty, including holdouts, incrementality testing and long-run LTV, then tune earn and burn rates and tier thresholds off what the data says Partner with Risk, Credit, Legal, Compliance, Finance and Marketing to design rewards that are compliant and clearly disclosed, with no hidden fees or fine print that surprises peopl

Affirm is building its own bank — and this role sits at the center of that ambition. We’re looking for a Staff Product Manager who has shipped a consumer-facing deposit or fintech product to market. You’ll own the end-to-end bank product: launching the deposit product to consumers, operationalizing a new bank charter within Affirm’s ecosystem, driving loan originations through the bank entity, and ensuring seamless integration across Affirm’s platform. This is a rare opportunity to build a foundational new business line from the ground up — one that will reshape how Affirm funds, serves, and grows relationships with its consumers. You’ll work at the intersection of regulated banking, platform engineering, and consumer products to bring Affirm’s bank to life. What You’ll Do Serve as the single-threaded product owner across deposits, loan originations, banking compliance, and operations. You are the person who holds the full picture of how the bank works within Affirm’s ecosystem — and you drive it forward. Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Marketing, Branding, Content, and Design to shape the consumer deposit experience and go-to-market strategy, including owning positioning, launch sequencing, and consumer-facing messaging for the deposit product.
