Qualification
MD with experience in pain drug development Minimum of 12 years of clinical experience in a pharmaceutical or biotech environment Minimum of 5 years of experience as a drug development program lead and/or managing teams Possesses excellent leadership, managerial and interpersonal skills; should have proven skills as an effective manager, and demonstrate the ability to lead a cross-functional development team Strong drug development background with experience in filing IND’s, NDAs and bringing novel therapeutics into clinical development Experience in the design and execution of pain clinical trials used to demonstrate safety and efficacy Broad experience in clinical trial designs (Phases 1 to 3) implementation, execution, and clinical data interpretation Training in GCP and knowledge of the research process, of the importance of adherence to protocols, and of the accuracy needed in collection and documentation of research data Understanding of clinical trial operations, biostatistics, and data management techniques Good understanding of clinical pharmacology principles Working knowledge of health authority regulations regarding the evaluation and approval process Ability to engende
