We’re looking for a VP of Strategy and Corporate Development to join Duolingo’s Senior Leadership Team and drive strategy, planning and our growth via M&A. Reporting to the Chief Business Officer, the VP of Strategy and Corporate Development will manage our Strategy and Business Operations and Corporate Development functions. Strategy and Business Operations at Duolingo is fast moving and iterative and represents the majority of this role. We’re seeking a leader who’s excited to work at a founder-led company, comfortable with ambiguity, and collaborates well with product and technical teams. Corporate Development at Duolingo supports key company priorities, with a focus on acqui-hires and targeted capability acquisitions rather than large transformational deals. We’ve used M&A to build functions, establish offices, and expand into new subjects. We’re excited to continue and expand our M&A activity. VTS is looking for a Director of Growth Marketing to be the core driver of our unified GTM motion, working in close partnership with Sales, Customer Success, and Revenue Operations. You've built a growth motion from the ground up before, and you know how to set direction while staying close enough to the work to execute it yourself. You'll own the integrated campaigns and how we bring them to market, translating that into what goes out through our own marketing channels (owned and paid). You'll work closely with sales and revenue operations to make sure the right message, content, and actions show up throughout the entire GTM funnel, moving target accounts from unaware to aware to actively engaged, and measuring what actually matters. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, you'll work alongside a strong marketing team and set the strategic direction for growth while remaining hands-on, using AI and other tools to prototype ideas, test messaging, and explore new channels and activations before scaling them. ** Please note that this opportunity is located in New York, NY, and requires this hire to work from our office 4 days a week. ** What Makes This Job Awesome?
