Job description
As a Yard Operative, you will have ultimate responsibility for everything that moves within your yard and stores. The role is to ensure efficiency and smooth running in the depot which in turns gives efficiency and compliance on sites whilst maintaining the company procedures and policies. Good computer skills to allow you to utilise the sign making software for the production of Specific road signs. Ensure that all planned work jobs have their required equipment prepicked in advance of the works, and report any shortfalls. Capable of putting operatives to work in the depot when they have dead time through the day. Monitor Battery Charging, Monitor battery quantities, and record and report to their manager.
