About Okta Secures AI Team The Okta for AI Agents Team is building the future of digital identity management. The way companies are using agents and allowing them access is undergoing a fundamental shift, enabling teams to move fast while staying secure. Our North Star is clear: To get AI right, you have to get identity right. We are not just managing identities; we are building the industry's first Identity Security Fabric for the agentic era. As organizations rapidly deploy AI, these non-human entities are acting with access to critical tools, often bypassing traditional perimeters and creating a 'Shadow AI' crisis. We are tackling this by implementing a comprehensive four-pillar maturity model: Discover, Onboard, Protect, and Govern. We are driving innovation by defining the standards for Agentic Identity—including pioneer work with securing AI Agents and support for protocols like MCP. You will be helping us build the infrastructure that allows enterprises to scale AI safely, ensuring every access decision—whether made by a human or an automated agent—is authenticated, authorized, and audited at scale. We are a diverse team of engineers, product managers, and designers who are bringing Okta’s expertise in identity to define the future of Agent Identity management, focusing on enablement while staying secure. Our Global Structure Deliveroo is now part of DoorDash, bringing together teams with even greater reach, scale, and ambition. Depending on your role, you may collaborate with teammates, systems, and leaders across DoorDash and Wolt. Together, we’re unlocking new possibilities as one global team. Your job is to make sure every payout and transaction lands with the right person. We have spent years getting very good at protecting the things a marketplace has always had to protect: checkout fraud, account takeover, courier abuse. But we are no longer only a marketplace. We now issue banking products, lend to merchants, move instant payouts to couriers, and collect cash on the doorstep. Every one of those is a new way for money to leave the platform. This is a new team, and it owns that surface: fraud wherever money moves through the platform. Who receives it, who lends it, who collects it, and who holds it in a financial account. Think instant payout rails, merchant cash advances, and platform-issued banking and earned-wage products serving millions of couriers and merchants. These are live loss surfaces, and the volume grows with every financial product we launch. We are now looking for a Backend Engineer (Golang) to build that protection. You will design and ship real-time detection and automated enforcement for our financial products across DoorDash, Wolt, and Deliveroo. The work is high-throughput, low-latency, and unusually consequential: a rule you ship on Monday can stop a serious loss by Friday. It is also close to greenfield, so you will be setting the patterns every future financial product inherits on day one. This role will be based in London , UK as one of the founding engineering roles in our London hub, working closely with our teams in Helsinki and Berlin. What you'll do: Build and maintain high-throughput, low-latency backend services in Go that score financial events in real time, including payout enrollments, bank account links, credit applications,

Join our mission to make processes work for people, companies, and the planet. We are looking for a Backend Software Engineer (Java), mid to senior level, to join the Metadata Platform DB team. This team owns Postgres end-to-end - from infrastructure and provisioning to the software layer that sits on top of it - and is looking for someone to help maintain and grow that ecosystem. The Team Metadata Platform DB owns Postgres provisioning and infrastructure as code, along with a set of Java (and one Rust) components built around it, including a core client library, a database proxy, a schema management tool, and a fork of an open-source sharding solution. The Tech Stack Cloud Infrastructure: Cloud-native platform, expanding beyond current AWS and Azure dependencies toward provider-agnostic deployment. Core Technologies: Java, Postgres. Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, a Go-based operator. Systems components: Rust (database proxy). Containerization: Kubernetes. DevOps: Kustomize, GitHub CI, ArgoCD/Kargo, Datadog for metrics/logs/APM. The Work You'll Do Take ownership of one or more Java components in the Postgres ecosystem, including newly onboarded ones. About Wolt At Wolt, we create technology that brings joy, simplicity and earnings to the neighborhoods of the world. In 2014 we started with delivery of restaurant food. Now we’re building the delivery of (almost) everything and you’ll find us in over 500 cities in 30 countries around the world. In 2022 we joined forces with DoorDash and together we keep on dreaming big and expanding across the globe. Working at Wolt isn’t always easy, but it’s definitely exciting. Here you’ll learn more, build more, and ship more than in most other companies. You’ll be challenged a lot, but also have a lot of fun on the way. So, if you’re a self-starter with drive and entrepreneurial spirit, this could be the ride of your life. Who We Are Global Marts builds the technology behind DoorDash's own grocery and retail operations across DashMart, Wolt Market, and Deliveroo Hop. Our systems decide what products our stores stock, how much inventory to purchase, which vendors to source from, how warehouses execute orders, and what prices customers see. We build everything from forecasting and replenishment systems to vendor management, warehouse execution, labor scheduling, space optimization, and pricing. Our in-house forecasting platform has replaced third-party solutions and now powers production globally. This isn't a traditional CRUD backend environment. Much of our work involves designing new systems that solve complex operational problems at global scale. What You'll Do As a Senior Backend Engineer, you'll work primarily with Go or Kotlin and take end-to-end ownership of production systems and complex technical initiatives. You'll: Design, build, and operate backend systems that support inventory, purchasing, warehouse operations, pricing, and fulfillment. Own technical solutions from problem definition and design through implementation, deployment, monitoring, and production operation. About Us OpenFX is on a mission to move money as freely as data, unrestricted by time zones, banking hours, or legacy systems. We are building the infrastructure that will power the next generation of cross-border payment systems for institutions. The team's execution has been exceptional, and we're scaling at a remarkable pace. Our stellar early team comes with experience in companies like J.P. Morgan, Goldman Sachs, FalconX, PayPal, Affirm, Polygon, Kraken, Nium & others. We're backed by Accel, Lightspeed, NfX and other top-tier investors. Role Overview We're hiring a Staff Software Engineer for our Payments team. This is the senior-most individual contributor role on the systems that move money across borders — payment orchestration, corridor and partner integrations, FX and quoting, the payment lifecycle from initiation to settlement confirmation, and the regulated controls (safeguarding, transaction monitoring) that our EU licenses demand. It is a hands-on technical leadership role on the money path, where a new corridor is only as good as its failure handling, and a regulatory control is only as good as the evidence it produces. The cost of a defect is measured in real money, stuck customer payments, or a finding from a regulator. You will report to an Engineering Manager and work closely with engineers, product, compliance, and partnerships across the company. You will set the technical direction for payments, lead the hardest corridor and orchestration problems, and raise the bar for how we build. This role requires someone who has built and operated payment or other correctness-critical systems in production, ideally against external partners whose behavior you do not control. If your experience is limited to systems where occasional data inconsistency is acceptable, where every dependency was internal and well-behaved, or where you have not owned something end to end for a meaningful stretch, this will be a stretch. Morgan, Goldman Sachs, FalconX, PayPal, Affirm, Polygon, Kraken, Nium & others. We're backed by Accel, Lightspeed, NfX and other top-tier investors. Role Overview We're hiring a backend-heavy Full Stack Engineer for our Payments team — the team that owns how money actually moves for our clients. Payments owns corridor expansion (EUR, MXN, COP, AED, and beyond), the operationalization of our EU licenses (safeguarding of customer funds, transaction monitoring), and the payments product across GUI and API. Our north star is payment volume moved reliably, with corridor success rate and on-time settlement as the control metrics. You will own the systems on that money path. This is where a client's payment gets initiated, routed to the right partner, tracked through cut-offs and settlement, and reconciled — and where a failure is not a bug ticket but stuck money. You will own the backend of these flows — partner integrations, payment lifecycle state machines, webhooks, retries, and idempotency — and be trusted with the correctness of what actually happens to the money. You will also work across the stack. The payments product ships on both API and GUI surfaces, and you'll build the dashboard views your backend powers — payment status, tracking, reporting — rather than waiting on someone else to unblock you. You don't need deep frontend expertise for this role, but you do need to be genuinely comfortable there. We're specifically looking for someone with a payments or fintech background. LaunchDarkly
📍 United States• Remote• $191.8K – $263.7K/yr
2mo ago

About the Job: Software powers the world, and LaunchDarkly empowers teams to deliver and control it safely. As a Senior Backend Engineer on the Billing team, you will own the systems that turn every plan, price, entitlement, and usage limit into revenue — checkout, subscription and entitlement APIs, usage metering, and the integrations to our billing, CRM, and finance systems. When billing is wrong, customers get the wrong product and we invoice the wrong amount. Correctness here is a commitment to our customers, not a nice-to-have. You and your team will drive the modernization of our billing platform. Technologies include Go, TypeScript, Postgres, AWS, and Terraform. Exact tool match matters far less than deep backend judgment and a track record of safely changing systems that are not allowed to be wrong. Responsibilities: Design and build the systems that define our plans, pricing, entitlements, and limits, and expose them through our API. Decompose billing from our monolith into services that are correct, testable, and independently deployable. Own correctness end to end — usage metering, reconciliation, and the invoices and usage data customers see. Operate what you build: SLOs, alerting, on-call, and fixing root causes rather than repeating mitigations. Qualifications: 6+ years of professional software-engineering experience, with significant work on complex backend applications. Experience decomposing a monolith A track record on systems where correctness is non-negotiable, and the habits that come with it: idempotency, reconciliation, reversible migrations, and safe cutovers. Proficiency in at least one backend language (Go, Rust, Python, etc.) and familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS or equivalent), plus strong production ownership including on-call. Bonus Billing, payments, or metering systems, or usage-based pricing. Modeling entitlements, quotas, or multi-tenant limits.
