About the Team OpenAI’s mission is to ensure that general-purpose artificial intelligence benefits all of humanity. The Education team is focused on making AI safe, useful, and empowering for students, faculty, and institutions. Our work spans core learning experiences, course-based tools, and campus-wide product solutions. We’re also exploring how OpenAI’s technology can support colleges and universities, educators, teaching and research, and collaborative learning. About the Role We’re looking for a staff-level product designer to shape how students and educators engage with AI and help define OpenAI’s emerging higher education experiences. You’ll work across immediate product needs and ambitious zero-to-one opportunities, from core learning and course experiences to campus-wide tools for teaching, research, and collaboration. A high craft bar is imperative. You’ll be expected to pair exceptional interaction and visual design with deep product thinking—turning complex questions around safety, learning, and institutional needs into experiences that feel clear, trustworthy, and engaging. This is a highly generative role for someone who can move from early exploration to concrete, high-fidelity product direction. You’ll partner closely with product, engineering, research, safety, policy, and design to establish durable patterns for a space that is still being defined. In this role, you will: Establish an exceptionally high standard for craft across OpenAI’s higher education experiences. Lead end-to-end design for products that help students, faculty, and campus staff use AI safely, confidently, and productively. Design clear, trustworthy experiences for learning, course participation, and campus-wide use, including sensitive or high-trust interactions. Shape zero-to-one higher education experiences spanning colleges and universities, educators, courses, collaborative work, and builder-style workflows. Turn emerging ideas into compelling concepts, prototypes, and high

SpaceX was founded under the belief that a future where humanity is out exploring the stars is fundamentally more exciting than one where we are not. Today, SpaceX is actively developing the technologies to make this possible, with the ultimate goal of making life multiplanetary and expanding consciousness to the stars. SpaceXSI is building Super Intelligence to help humanity understand the universe. Our teams are building the full Super Intelligence stack: from our Colossus supercomputers, to Grok models, to our suite of applications, including Grok Bot, Grok Build, Grok Imagine, Grok Voice, and X. We're creating a powerful flywheel where more compute trains better models, better models power more useful products, and what we learn from people using those products shapes what we build next. ABOUT THE ROLE: SpaceXSI operates multi-campus, hyperscale GPU infrastructure where cluster availability directly determines training throughput, customer handover commitments, and capital efficiency of the fleet. The Manager of Supercomputer Site Reliability Engineering will be responsible for both compute and infrastructure performance, and will be responsible for significantly increasing the SRE team size. On the compute side, focus will be put on continuous site monitoring, cross-discipline incident command, deep hardware root-cause analysis (RCA), and emphasis on software systems that orchestrate repair velocity. Additional focus will be on physical infrastructure reliability as well. Understanding system margins and resiliency will be key. Site Reliability engineering manager owns >99% compute uptime outcome, drives unplanned facilities compute losses to 0, ensures efficient allocation of > 3GW site power, upgrade robust fault-free megapack failover systems capable of supporting all halls for >4 hours (160 MWhr per hall), drives robust hardware inventory systems and repair velocity to eliminate hardware chokepoints. We're creating a powerful flywheel where more compute trains better models, better models power more useful products, and what we learn from people using those products shapes what we build next. ABOUT THE ROLE: As a Site Reliability Engineer focused on campus reliability, you will design what the campus watches and trusts, technically command cross-discipline SEVs, and build the guardrails that make the next incident smaller. You are the connective tissue across compute, network, storage, power, and cooling on one of the largest AI training campuses in the world. This role demands calm incident leadership, fleet-scale observability judgment, and the ability to drive reliability work across software and facility boundaries. We are looking for candidates from power plants, nuclear power plants, data centers, or people who currently work or have worked in facilities like SpaceXSI with power, compute, cooling, and related plant systems. RESPONSIBILITIES: Own monitoring architecture and signal quality across GPU and host telemetry (DCGM, Prometheus/Grafana) and facility telemetry (BMS, EPMS, DCIM, SCADA, CDU / direct liquid cooling): what we alert on, suppress, and trust. Consume NOC noise-disposition feedback to drive suppression and redesign. Treat alert noise as a design failure, not an operator failure. Provide SEV command support: technical incident leadership, bridge c
