About the Team The Plugin Developer Platform team builds the APIs, SDKs, and tools that let people extend ChatGPT and Codex. We work on plugins, connectors, the Model Context Protocol (MCP), and interactive apps. We want anyone to be able to turn a useful workflow into a plugin, share it, and have other people use it. A plugin can package instructions and skills with connections to the tools and data it needs. Our work covers plugin creation and publishing, the systems that run plugins across our products, and open standards that developers can build on. About the Role We’re looking for an experienced Android engineer to bring plugins, connectors, and interactive apps to life on mobile. You’ll build the Android experiences and platform foundations that help developers extend ChatGPT and help users discover and use those capabilities from their devices. You’ll work across native Android interfaces, developer-facing APIs, and the systems that support extensibility on mobile. You’ll collaborate closely with product, design, and platform engineers, owning features from early exploration through implementation, launch, and iteration. You’ll also engage directly with developers and partners to understand how their workflows translate to Android. Their experience will inform the interfaces and abstractions you build, the problems you prioritize, and the tradeoffs you make. This role is based in San Francisco. We use a hybrid work model of 3 days in the office per week and offer relocation assistance to new employees. In this role, you will: Build Android experiences for plugins, connectors, and interactive apps within ChatGPT. Develop reusable Android components and interfaces that support a growing ecosystem of developer-built experiences. Senior Infrastructure Engineer - AI/ML Platform Location: U.S - Remote Work Authorization: U.S. citizenship required Clearance: An active clearance is not required at the time of hire. Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance, which includes a federal background investigation. Salary Range: $85,000 - $120,000 USD, dependent on experience level and location About the Role We're looking for a Systems Engineer to join our platform support team. This is a role for someone early in their infrastructure career who wants real ownership of production systems and is willing to earn it by being the person others can count on. The work runs across two streams. Internal Platforms covers the systems OpenTeams itself runs on — identity, cloud, internal applications, our website. You own that surface end to end, which means you're the first responder when something breaks and the one who fixes the underlying cause so it stops happening. Project Support means backing up our infrastructure engineers on the platforms we build and operate for customers, including government programs. Both streams start at the front line. That's the entry point, not the destination - as you build real context, the scope grows toward environment builds, deployment configuration, and eventually owning pieces of a platform outright. The two sides
About the team The ChatGPT Library team is building the persistence layer that helps people and organizations collaborate with increasingly capable AI systems. ChatGPT Library provides users with a durable place for their files, context, and creations, forming a substrate between humans and agents—a foundation for AI that can remember, retrieve, and act on the right context over time. The team sits within the Personalization organization and partners closely with product, design, research, model, and infrastructure teams. Its work helps models become a useful second brain for individuals—for example, answering questions such as “What did I work on last week?”—and supports enterprise use cases that turn company knowledge into accessible, actionable context. About the role We are looking for a hands-on engineering manager to lead a team of approximately 9–10 engineers and own execution across the product roadmap. This is a technical leadership role for someone who can set a high product bar, build a strong team, shape architecture, and contribute directly when needed. You will form and translate an ambitious product vision into a focused roadmap and help the team ship reliable, intuitive experiences at the intersection of AI, knowledge, and collaboration. The ideal candidate leads by example. You are comfortable moving between people leadership, product decisions, technical design, and code. Founder or early-stage startup experience is especially valuable because the role requires urgency, sound judgment under ambiguity, and a willingness to operate across boundaries. In this role you will • Lead, coach, and grow a team of approximately 9–10 engineers while creating clarity, accountability, and a healthy execution rhythm. • Own the engineering roadmap for Library, working with product and design partners to prioritize the highest-impact problems. • Set a high bar for product quality, technical excellence, reliability, privacy, and user trust. • Provide hands-on techni
