About the Team The Plugin Developer Platform team builds the APIs, SDKs, and tools that let people extend ChatGPT and Codex. We work on plugins, connectors, the Model Context Protocol (MCP), and interactive apps. We want anyone to be able to turn a useful workflow into a plugin, share it, and have other people use it. A plugin can package instructions and skills with connections to the tools and data it needs. Our work covers plugin creation and publishing, the systems that run plugins across our products, and open standards that developers can build on. About the Role We’re looking for platform-minded engineers who know what it takes to build a platform developers want to use. You’ll work across developer-facing interfaces, APIs, and backend systems. You’ll own features from the first developer conversation through implementation and release. You’ll talk directly with developers, partners, and the open-source community. Their experience will inform the APIs and abstractions you design, the problems you prioritize, and the tradeoffs you make. This role is based in San Francisco. We use a hybrid work model of 3 days in the office per week and offer relocation assistance to new employees. What You’ll Do Design and ship APIs, SDKs, and services that developers use to extend ChatGPT and Codex. Make plugins easier to create, test, publish, update, and share. Datadog helps technical teams understand their systems. More and more, those teams want to know what a problem costs the business. Today the business context for that answer typically sits in a data warehouse. We want to equip customers to answer this question directly in Datadog. We're bringing business data into Datadog. You'll start with owning the Datadog SQL (DDSQL) and Sheets products. DDSQL lets people query across their Datadog data in SQL, and Sheets gives them a spreadsheet to pivot, look up, and calculate on that data without writing a query. Once you have a handle, you will grow into building out a strategy and execution plan for bringing business data into Datadog. This encompasses data warehouse connections, schema discovery, semantic encoding, and new visualization. As this initiative grows, you will explore new capabilities that can be built using both warehouse and telemetry data in one platform. At Datadog, we place value in our office culture - the relationships and collaboration it builds, and the creativity it brings to the table. We operate as a hybrid workplace to ensure our Datadogs can create a work-life harmony that best fits them. What you'll do: Lead SQL and Sheets end to end, growing them into the main way customers query Datadog and warehouse data Define how customers connect their warehouses and join that data to Datadog telemetry, with the access controls and performance that make it usable at scale Build reusable metrics and joins so teams can build on each other's work instead of starting over Bring business data into our AI agent Bits so operational investigations can draw on customer and revenue context Make analysis easy to organize and distribute, from folders and tags to scheduled reports Partner with design to set a high bar for information architecture and visual polish in complex analytical workflows Use customer research and product analytics to find what keeps teams from doing this work in Datadog today, then improve disco
About the Team The Consumer Devices team is building a new generation of AI-native experiences that bring OpenAI’s technology closer to people throughout their day. We are exploring how AI can become deeply integrated into the devices people already use—understanding context, helping users accomplish tasks, coordinating across apps and services, and making use of capabilities that are uniquely available on the device. Our work spans software, devices, platform technologies, and strategic partnerships. We operate as a highly collaborative, fast-moving team focused on turning ambitious ideas into reliable products that can reach people at significant scale. About the Role As an Android Systems Engineer , you will help define and build the Android platform capabilities behind the next generation of AI-powered consumer experiences. This is not a traditional application-only Android role. You will work across the Android stack, using system-level APIs, device capabilities, platform integrations, and OEM-specific functionality to create experiences that would be difficult or impossible to build as a conventional mobile application. You will help determine what becomes possible when an AI assistant is deeply integrated with a mobile device: how it understands what is happening, interacts naturally with the user, connects across apps and services, and helps complete multi-step tasks. You will work closely with product, design, AI, backend, platform, and external device partners to take new concepts from prototype to production. The role requires strong technical judgment, product intuition, and comfort navigating areas where the platform, APIs, and product patterns are still evolving. This role is based in San Francisco, CA. We use a hybrid work model of four days in the office per week and offer relocation assistance to new employees. In this role, you will: Build deeply integrated Android experiences: Design and implement product experiences that take advantage of Android
