About the Team Compute Foundations builds the software that manages OpenAI’s GPU compute infrastructure across sites, data centers, and infrastructure providers, supporting model training and inference. Our systems turn large, heterogeneous fleets of machines into dependable compute for research and products. We build Kubernetes-based control planes, controllers, services, and APIs that coordinate the lifecycle of machines and clusters. We connect global infrastructure management with the realities of bare-metal systems, giving clients consistent interfaces across differences in hardware, topology, and provider behavior. About the Role You will build distributed systems that provision, configure, and manage compute throughout its lifecycle. Your work will connect global services and Kubernetes controllers with the systems that bring machines online, update them safely, and recover them when something goes wrong. This role combines software architecture with an understanding of how machines and data centers work. You might design a lifecycle API, improve controller performance under high concurrency and provider rate limits, or trace a provisioning failure from an API through reconciliation to network boot or host configuration. You will help these systems remain reliable as the fleet expands across sites and generations of GPU hardware. We value depth in relevant systems and the ability to connect layers. You do not need to arrive as an expert in every component of the stack. In this role, you will: Design, build, and operate Kubernetes-based controllers and distributed services that coordinate infrastructure across sites, isolate failures, and scale as GPU capacity grows. Define APIs and resource models that let clients request and track lifecycle operations through consistent interfaces across hardware platforms and providers. Build provisioning and configuration services that coordinate network boot, hardware management interfaces, and the deployment of firmware,

Deeply understanding what’s in the enterprise data has been a challenge that Databricks has been addressing by providing analytics and machine learning tools. From data warehousing with Databricks SQL to large-scale distributed processing with Spark and advanced ML tools for experimentation and model serving, we empower our customers to gain insights and drive innovation. To enable all of this on Databricks, making data ingestion seamless is crucial. That’s the mission of the Ingestion Core Team: to make the ingestion of all data—structured and unstructured—simple, reliable, and efficient. Simplifying the complex is hard, and that’s where you come in. This role requires building distributed platform systems to incrementally ingest high-volume, petabyte-scale data from diverse sources—including cloud storage (SQS, ADLS, GCS), databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, Postgres), and file sources (Google Drive, SharePoint)—at high throughput and low cost. The data includes structured formats (JSON, Parquet, CSV) as well as unstructured data (text, images, docs, PPTs, and blobs), all of which land in Delta Lake with schema evolution and change data capture (CDC) capabilities. Join us in making data ingestion effortless and be part of the team that powers the future of AI + data at Databricks! As an engineer on the team, you will work on projects that: Build distributed infrastructure to ingest data from diverse sources and support streaming ingestion, incremental processing, and replication. This isn’t just about building plugin connectors. Reduce end-to-end latency, increase throughput, and reduce costs from the time data appears in source systems to when it is available in Delta Lake. Design and optimize streaming and distributed workloads for throughput, cost, latency, reliability, and scale. Optimize streaming workloads by exploring and applying ML techniques. Build monitoring and observability capabilities (customer-facing and internal) that

About Ramp Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $200B in annualized spend flows in and out of 70,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books. The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving. We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome. The median Ramp customer saves 5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same. If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it. About the Role The Money Platform, International team builds the infrastructure that powers Ramp's expansion into global markets. We handle international payments, multi-currency operations, and compliance with regional requirements — the foundational platform that enables Ramp to serve customers beyond the US. International expansion is core to Ramp's growth strategy, and this team directly unlocks it. We work at the intersection of greenfield and scale: launching new markets from 0 to 1 while maturing the systems that already run. The platform we build handles cross-border payments, multi-currency accounting, and integrations with international banking rails — giving every other team a reliable foundation to build on. What You'll Do Build payment infrastructure that works across multiple countries, currencies, and regulatory regimes Design multi-currency accounting and reconciliation systems at scale Integrate with international banking systems and payment rails (SEPA, BACS, and SWIFT) Take on both 0-1 work (launching new markets) and 1-N work (sc
