The Elastic Search AI Platform, used by more than 50% of the Fortune 500, brings together the precision of search and the intelligence of AI to enable everyone to accelerate the results that matter. By taking advantage of all structured and unstructured data — securing and protecting private information more effectively — Elastic’s complete, cloud-based solutions for search, security, and observability help organizations deliver on the promise of AI. What is The Role We are on the lookout for a Senior Java Developer to join our Elasticsearch team and drive our work on the Inference API in Elasticsearch. The Elasticsearch Inference API is the integration layer between Elasticsearch and external machine learning services including Elastic's own Elastic Inference Service (EIS), third-party providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Cohere, Google), and self-hosted models. It powers features like semantic search, reranking, and generative AI across Elastic Cloud and in hosted environments. You'll maintain and develop the plugin framework and REST API with your work spanning protocol design, streaming, async execution, billing integration, and with a tight collaboration with the wider inference team and the Kibana team. As a Senior Enterprise Sales Engineer, you’ll serve as a trusted technical advisor and strategic partner to both customers and Sales. You’ll lead complex technical evaluations, align solutions to business outcomes, and help shape deal strategy in high-impact opportunities. This role goes beyond delivering demos - you’ll own the evaluation experience end-to-end, influence key stakeholders, and help drive successful outcomes across enterprise accounts. What You’ll Do: Own the technical strategy across your accounts as a peer to the Account Executive - a standing weekly 1:1 with each AE you support, and a standing weekly account team call with the full ecosystem where you carry POV status, technical blockers, and the explanation behind any usage movement. Own the technical explanation behind consumption movement in your accounts. Work with the CSM and TAM to separate legitimate growth from misconfiguration, make sure legitimate growth gets quantified before renewal, and flag forward-looking usage the customer has signalled rather than explaining it backwards a month later. Lead discovery in every meeting, not only in discovery meetings - including meetings where you were invited to present. Leave each meeting knowing something about their business you did not know going in. Deliver engaging product demos, technical presentations, solution workshops, etc. that connect platform capabilities to customer outcomes for diverse stakeholder audiences including executives Full ownership of the technical evaluations (POVs) end-to-end: scoping use cases and requirements, defining competitive success criteria, building a project plan with clear timelines, and holding all participants accountable to the process Identify, develop, and leverage technical champions across multi-stakeholder environments, building a structured plan for champion cultivation and influence throughout the deal cycle and beyond Contribute to product direction through active participation in structured

What is The Role We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the Integrations Team and help us build how Elastic shows up inside the AI ecosystem. AI assistants and agentic tools are quickly becoming the place where developers start their work, and this role exists to make Elastic work in the tools and ecosystems that our users use. We want to be easy to find, easy to connect to, and easy to use. The Integrations team owns the developer-facing surfaces that connect Elastic to the broader ecosystem: language clients, CLI, MCP server, third-party integrations, and the skills that make Elastic accessible wherever developers work. You'll build and maintain these projects, engage directly with the developer community, and contribute across team and cross-functional initiatives. This is fast-moving territory. We want someone who enjoys an ambiguous, quick-shifting space, who forms opinions about what should be built and not only how, and who is comfortable working closely with our product teams and external partners. Prior experience with the Elastic product suite is not essential, but is beneficial. What You Will Be Doing You'll build and evolve the Elastic MCP server and the infrastructure behind it, working primarily in Go. You'll build the platform for universal agent skills: the portable format, the authoring and publishing tooling, and

What is The Role The Context Engine team builds the knowledge layer that AI agents use to work with enterprise data in Elasticsearch. We extract knowledge from any data sources into a structured AI Index, serve it to agents through public APIs, MCP tools and framework integrations, and close the loop with agent traces so that what the engine knows improves from real usage. Any agent can use it: Elastic’s own Agent Builder, Claude Code, LangChain and other third-party harnesses. As a Principal AI Engineer, you own the improvement loop of this product end to end: how agents, automations and skills behave in production, how we observe them, how we evaluate them, and how we ship changes to them safely. This is a hybrid role at the intersection of engineering, data science, and product. You will write production code, design evaluation and telemetry that product decisions can rest on, and set the technical bar for how the team iterates on agentic behaviour. You will work alongside data scientists, backend engineers, product, and UX, and your work will show up directly in what customers build on top of Elastic. The codebase is TypeScript and we build it in the open, so you'll be shipping code, designs and discussions in public alongside the rest of the Elastic Stack. What You Will Be Doing Own the production improvement loop for Context Engine: underst
