Role Description Dropbox’s Design team is looking for a Director of Product Design to define the next generation of product experiences and infrastructure for Dropbox. In this role, you will lead the vision, strategy, and execution for the systems, patterns, and operating model that shape how Dropbox builds coherent, high quality, multi product experiences at scale. We are building a modern system that can support a broader portfolio of products, accelerate product teams to achieve product market fit, improve front end quality, and create durable patterns for the most important product experiences across Dropbox. You will lead the team responsible for turning repeated product needs into reusable experience infrastructure: interaction patterns, product frameworks, design primitives, implementation standards, and adoption models that make it easier for teams to build excellent Dropbox experiences. As Director, you will oversee the evolution of Dropbox’s design system into a next generation design and technology platform. This includes the foundational system of components, tokens, accessibility standards, and documentation, but also the broader lifecycle of product patterns: how they are identified, designed, validated, built, adopted, measured, improved, and eventually deprecated. You will help move the team from a reactive model, where design systems patternize work after the fact, to a more proactive model, where the team helps shape core product experiences from the beginning. You will also establish Design Systems and Design Technology as a center of excellence for front end product quality. This team should not only define what good looks like, but help build it. That means partnering deeply with product designers, engineers, product managers, researchers, brand, and leadership to create high leverage patterns that improve product coherence, accelerate execution, and raise the quality bar across web, mobile, desktop, and emerging AI native experiences. Amplitude's Cloud Platform team builds the systems that every Amplitude engineer relies on every day to ship code — and we're rebuilding them for the AI era. As a Staff Platform Engineer, you'll set technical direction for the platform across teams, lead our highest-complexity and highest-leverage initiatives, and shape a platform where AI agents are first-class users alongside humans: kicking off deploys, opening pull requests against infrastructure, and triaging incidents, so a single engineer can get the throughput of a team. You'll operate across team boundaries — partnering with product engineering, fellow Staff+ engineers, and engineering leadership to make Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure effortless across the entire engineering org. You'll build the self-service automation, shared standards, and scalable AWS and GCP infrastructure that let dozens of product teams ship faster, safer, and with less cognitive load — and you'll multiply the engineers around you while you do it. Key Responsibilities Set technical direction — shape platform and domain-level technical strategy that improves developer experience, reliability, security, and cost, and lead the high-complexity, cross-cutting initiatives that deliver it with measurable impact for the organization. Drive clarity through ambiguity. Take on the most loosely-defined problems, validate the critical assumptions early, and create alignment with stakeholders across teams so others can move quickly and confidently — driving cross-team decisions to a timely close and escalating when needed. Build the AI-augmented platform. Design org-wide tooling, guardrails, and policy-as-code that help every engineer get more out of AI-assisted development — infra primitives an LLM can safely reason about and PR against, automated review, and standards that hold as AI changes how code gets written. Role Description Dropbox’s Design team is looking for a Principal Designer to help define the future of content activation for Dropbox customers. In this role, you will help lead the design vision and execution for Dropbox’s portfolio of products and services. As a Principal Designer, you will shape how AI helps customers get their jobs done faster, better, and with greater confidence. Dropbox holds the content, context, and collaboration that power our customers’ most important work. This role is about designing AI experiences that activate that content in useful, intuitive, and trustworthy ways, helping customers find clarity, make progress, and take action without adding complexity or friction. We believe AI should sharpen our customers, not replace their judgment. You will be responsible for creating experiences where AI acts as a thoughtful partner: surfacing what matters, reducing busywork, connecting ideas, and helping people move from information to action, while keeping customers in control. The best experiences will feel elegant, precise, and almost invisible; AI should make Dropbox more powerful without making it feel more complicated. This role requires a designer with exceptional craft, strong product judgment, and the ability to operate across strategy, systems, and execution. You will translate emerging AI capabilities into high-trust, “it just works” product experiences, while raising the quality bar for the broader design organization. You will also help transform the team into AI-enabled designers, setting new standards for how we use AI in our own design process, how we prototype, how we explore, and how we deliver customer value. You will partner closely with Product, Engineering, Research, Marketing, and Design leadership to shape not only what we build, but how we build it. This is a critical role for Dropbox’s AI-first, multi-product future, and for defining the next generation of product experiences that help customers do their best work. Res
