Lead Occupational Therapist – Mental Health Rehabilitation Services Location: Surrey Contract: Permanent Hours: Full-Time Salary: £54,315 per annum Our client is seeking an experienced Lead Occupational Therapist to join the multidisciplinary team in Surrey. As Lead Occupational Therapist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting service users on their recovery journey while leading and developing the occupational therapy service. Key Responsibilities: Manage a complex caseload using evidence-based and person-centred occupational therapy approaches. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individual and group interventions that promote independence, self-maintenance, productivity, and leisure skills. Participate fully within the multidisciplinary team and encourage service user engagement throughout their care pathway. Lead and coordinate the delivery of occupational therapy treatment plans and interventions. Ensure accurate, timely, and effective clinical documentation relating to patient progress and rehabilitation outcomes. Support the supervision, development, and performance management of junior occupational therapy staff. Deliver staff training and contribute to the ongoing development of clinical practice across the service. Receive and respond to referrals, undertaking comprehensive assessments to identify and prioritise patient needs.
