We're looking for a Tech Principal to lead technical strategy and execution on our most ambitious product work: lighthouse projects inside Thoughtworks' global Customer Experience, Product and Design team. Here's the shape of it. A client arrives with a big idea and not much time. Within a few days, you've helped them turn it into a concept everyone agrees on. Within a few weeks, there's something real that customers can actually use and react to. Within a quarter, it's live. Then you do it again, somewhere else in the world, with a different team, and you leave both of them better at it than they were before. If you have built a career integrating strategy, architecture, AI engineering, and executive collaboration, this role offers an ideal platform to leverage those skills. The approach you'd be leading: We call it 3/3/3 3 days: Product concept. Everyone aligned on scope, objectives and how we'll measure success. 3 weeks: Working prototype. Desirability, viability and feasibility tested with real users. 3 months: MLP launch. A production-grade minimum lovable product, ready to keep evolving. Think of it as a reference tempo rather than a fixed schedule. The sequence is what we believe in: align quickly, get real evidence early, put something usable in front of customers while the idea is still current. A regulated platform with a heavy integration surface won't run like a greenfield mobile app, and reading the difference is part of the job. AI runs through all of it, and not as a feature we add at the end. We use AI across the whole lifecycle, from specification and design through build, test and operations, and you'd be one of the people defining what good looks like there. Who you'd work with We work in tight forward-deployed pods: one Product Strategist, one Experience Designer, and two Forward-Deployed Engineers. You're one of the FDEs — the lead engineer on the pod — guiding architecture, delivery cadence, and technical commercial choices, while collaborating

Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone’s reach while doing the most important work of your career. About the team Large, complex businesses on Stripe have historically had to create a new Stripe account for each global entity or business unit—making it difficult to unify reporting and manage payment operations across all accounts. Our customers want a way to manage these accounts under one umbrella so they can operate at scale more efficiently. We are responsible for building Organizations, which allows merchants to effectively and centrally manage their businesses across multiple Stripe accounts. As Stripe continues to grow its suite of product offerings beyond payments, Organizations will unlock a new phase of growth for Stripe. We will do this by enabling our platforms and businesses to model their complex businesses and distribute all of Stripe’s products to their end users. You can read more about what we are working on here (our Stripe Blog). What you’ll do As a leader on the User Auth Experience team, you will help shape the team’s vision and roadmap, guide and mentor your peers, and lead by example. Authentication, Login, and general Account Security experiences are deeply cross-cutting areas at Stripe with critical security, safety, and quality considerations. Supabase
📍 Global• Full-time
2mo ago

About Supabase Supabase is the Postgres development platform, built by developers for developers. We provide a complete backend solution including Database, Auth, Storage, Edge Functions, Realtime, and Vector Search. All services are deeply integrated and designed for growth. About the Role We're looking for a Release Engineer (SRE) to join our Release Engineering team (part of EngOps) — a production-operations expert who brings an SRE mindset to how Supabase ships and runs, making deploys safe, observable, and recoverable at scale. Release Engineering's scope has grown well beyond build-and-ship: we increasingly own the operational reliability of the systems that deploy and run Supabase. In this role you'll treat our deployment pipelines, pre-production signal, and the control plane itself as production systems — with SLOs, error budgets, and on-call ownership — and you'll be the person teams lean on when reliability is on the line. This is not a "gatekeeper" role. You'll make the reliable path the easy path: standardising how we deploy, instrumenting what we ship, and ensuring that when something breaks, we detect it quickly and recover quickly. What You'll Be Responsible For In this role, you'll: Own the reliability of Supabase's deployment and release systems, and the control plane they run on, against clear SLOs and error budgets Turn pre-production into a trustworthy signal — standardizing and instrumenting today's fragmented, ad-hoc deployment workflows Drive disaster-recovery readiness, including making environments reproducibly deployable from scratch (untangling undocumented secrets, unclear configuration ownership, and circular service dependencies) Build and operate health and SLO monitoring for critical user flows, using synthetic testing to catch regressions before customers do Reduce mean-time-to-detect and mean-time-to-recover for deploy-related incidents — which account for a large share of our incident load Participate in on-call, lead blameless po
