This team is replacing the existing React Native app with native Swift and Kotlin builds, using AI-driven agentic workflows to translate and rebuild every core surface for millions of customers. What you'll do: Own the architecture of core native app surfaces in Swift and Kotlin, making the structural decisions that product teams build on as they onboard to native. Make this architecture enforceable: define the module boundaries and responsibilities, visibility rules, and compile-time checks that yield a high quality and scalable codebase by default. Stay hands-on across the team's codebases, writing and reviewing code at depth rather than directing from a distance. Lead the agentic code translation workflow, implementing high-quality automated systems for the team's recurring migration work before asking for headcount, and setting what gets automated versus what stays human across the translation pipeline.
