Asana
📍 Warsaw• Full-time• $372K – $432K/yr

We're looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer who brings strong software engineering skills and a deep understanding of production systems. This role is a good fit for someone who enjoys building systems that make infrastructure more scalable, reliable, and easy to operate – using code, not runbooks. You'll work with a highly collaborative team to design and build the internal platforms that power all of Asana, from product features to AI systems to offline analytics. Our tech stack includes: AWS, Kubernetes (EKS), MySQL (RDS), OpenSearch, DynamoDB, Redis, Terraform, Datadog, TypeScript, Scala, Go, and Python. We’re especially interested in people who think like backend engineers but care deeply about systems – things like failure modes, operational cost, debuggability, and performance. This role is based in our Warsaw office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. The standard in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Most Asanas have the option to work from home on Wednesdays. Working from home on Fridays depends on the type of work you do, and your recruiter can share more about the in-office requirements. We offer a Contract of Employment (UoP) for our employees in Poland. What you’ll achieve: Design and build frameworks, tools, and services that improve the reliability, observability, and scalability of Asana’s infrastructure. Lead end-to-end projects, from scoping and design through to rollout, across multiple systems and teams. Improve the operability of stateful infrastructure like MySQL, OpenSearch, and DynamoDB – and help drive Asana’s long-term vision for storage reliability. Debug production issues across the stack. Yes, there’s an on-call rotation – but this isn’t a pager monkey role. You’re here to fix things properly and make sure they don’t break again. Partner with product teams to shape a service-oriented architecture that enables fast, reliable development. Share knowledge through code reviews, design discussions, and mentorship. Abou

Coder
📍 Warsaw• Full-time• Remote• PLN 52K – PLN 71K/yr

As a Backend Engineer on Coder's Enterprise Experience team, you'll build the features that help large organizations run Coder in production with confidence. The team owns what administrators and operators need to run Coder well. That covers how it scales, how it's upgraded, how reliably it performs, how it's observed and reported on, how activity is held accountable, and how it's secured. You'll join a cross-functional team of backend, platform, and QA engineers who own the operator experience end to end. You'll ship features from design through production and partner with product and design to solve real operator problems. What you'll do here Build features end to end, from a design you write within the team's existing approach through production rollout. Write database migrations that follow the team's patterns for schema compatibility and safe upgrades. Build the observability, reporting, and audit features administrators rely on to see what their deployment is doing. Build features that keep enterprise deployments secure, following the team's security practices. Help investigate and resolve scalability bottlenecks under production-like load, from database access patterns to concurrency in coderd. Help resolve backend issues surfaced by Coder operators and administrators. Document the features you build so a reviewer and the next engineer do not have to decode them. Participate in code reviews, contribute to RFC-style design discussions, and join the on-call rotation. What we're looking for 2+ years of professional software engineering experience. Professional experience writing and shipping Go. Working understanding of Go's concurrency model, including goroutines, channels, and the sync package. Comfortable with SQL, schema changes, and writing migrations. Strong verbal and written communication skills, including surfacing blockers and uncertainty early. Solid debugging skills and the persistence to work a problem, and to escalate early when stuck. A self-motiv
