We sit within the Policy and Communications function and work closely with other teams on a daily basis. We're hiring a Lead, Global ESG Reporting Strategy to build and lead DoorDash's global ESG reporting function from the ground up. This is a new role: the first dedicated strategic owner of ESG disclosures across the company. As regulations proliferate across jurisdictions (from the EU's CSRD to California's SB 253 to Australia's Modern Slavery Act), DoorDash needs someone to bring clarity, structure, and strategic thinking to a landscape that is growing in both volume and complexity. The role spans more ground than a traditional ESG reporting function: alongside disclosure strategy and regulatory compliance, you'll own our GHG measurement program and Scopes 1 & 2 emissions strategy, and manage the growing volume of ESG data requests we receive from enterprise partners. Lyft is looking for an experienced Public Policy Manager to join our Policy Team! Based in New York City, this position will manage our local NYC policy efforts. This policy expert will work directly with elected officials, policymakers, and key stakeholders. They will deal with a range of political, regulatory, and government issues that are critical to the company. Come join the exciting ride! Responsibilities: Execute Lyft’s legislative, regulatory, and political strategy. Represent Lyft in all interactions with electeds, government officials and staff Track legislation relevant to Lyft at municipal and county levels Work cross-functionally with Lyft senior management on developing public policy priorities Work closely with Lyft’s Legal, Compliance, Communications, and Marketplace teams on developing market strategy Track and respond to government inquiries and requests on policy issues Partner with policymakers from across the political spectrum in the best interests of rideshare drivers and riders Inform company stakeholders and lines of business on legislative and regulatory developments Manage external consultants to assist with key Lyft policy priorities Manage strategic relationships with external stakeholders and third party organizations based in NYC. Draft comments, talking points and memos for senior Lyft executives Identify, cultivate and manage relationships with strategic local third party and business groups, local nonprofits and community organizations leveraging Lyft’s internal programs and product offerings Develop strategic public engagement plans positioning Lyft as a “Force for Good” and reliable thought partner to city officials and third party groups in the NYC market Oversee local budget and work cross-functionally with Lyft senior m
