About the Role You'll drive customer outcomes and value through Sigma's analytics, apps, and agents platform, scaling the customer success team and practices to support our rapid growth. This is a retention and expansion-focused mandate for someone who's equal parts builder and scaler, strengthening what's working today and creating the capabilities we don't have yet. As AVP, Customer Success Commercial & Scale, you'll own Commercial CSM, Scale (CSM + Digital), and Digital-only segments. You'll lead the team and build coverage strategies, segment-specific playbooks, and AI-driven, scaled capabilities (e.g., digital journeys, self-serve, one-to-many programs, webinars, etc.) that enable Sigma to serve a fast-growing customer base without linear headcount growth. The job is as much about instrumentation as it is about people: you'll run this org the way Sigma expects its own customers to run their business, with clear metrics, structured experiments, and decisions grounded in data rather than instinct. You'll report to the SVP, Customer Success, and work closely with Sales, Renewals, Product, Marketing, Support, Enablement, Operations, and Finance to ensure Commercial, Scale, and Digital customers get full value from Sigma’s platform. Responsibilities Lead the Commercial, Scale & Digital strategy. Translate company goals into an operating plan, processes, and success metrics across all three segments. Own the outcomes that matter (GRR/NRR, adoption, time-to-value, and expansion) with a rigorous, KPI-driven operating cadence and reporting. Design segment-specific engagement models with repeatable and predictable onboarding, adoption, and expansion motions tailored to each segment's customers and economics. Identify and drive programs and initiatives to deliver to company priorities and improve the team’s ability to predictably drive customer and revenue outcomes. About the Team Rubrik's Renewal Strategy & Operations team protects one of the most valuable, fastest-compounding assets in enterprise software: $1.57 billion in subscription ARR, growing 32% year-over-year. Every one of those dollars sitsinside a renewal contract - which means protecting and compounding that ARR is one of the highest-leverage jobs in the company. Renewal Strategy & Operations is the team that builds the operating system for that asset. We sit at the intersection of commercial strategy, systems, and execution, and we are genuinely in a 0-to-1 build phase - the forecasting models, governance frameworks, quoting infrastructure, and playbooks that will run this business at 2x today's scale don't fully exist yet. That's the work: you will be designing the machine. You'll bring a strategic voice that understands renewals as a business - thinking in terms of root cause, leverage points, and scalable systems. You'll partner directly with Sales, Finance, Deal Desk, Product, and IT leaders, and your fingerprints will be on the foundation this function runs on for years. What You'll Do Be a strategic partner to the business Act as a direct strategic and analytical partner to the Senior Director, translating renewal metrics (ARR retention, churn, NRR/GRR, pipeline coverage) into a narrative leadership can act on. Shape how the business talks about renewals in QBRs, and leadership reviews: what matters, why, and what we're doing about it. Architect the systems this business will run on Take end-to-end ownership of how renewal workflows, forecasting models, and quoting frameworks are designed - not just monitored - including multi-year, co-term, and mid-term expansion structures built to maximize ARR retention at scale. Build the playbooks, governance frameworks, and standard operating procedures that don't exist yet, with an eye toward what this function needs to look like in two years, not just this quarter. Own governance and quality as a system Run q
