About the Team The Spark Platform team owns and operates DoorDash's Apache Spark ecosystem — the execution runtime, remote shuffle service, cluster scheduler, and reliability tooling that powers the company's data, analytics, and ML workloads. We run Spark across the company at significant scale and continue to expand the workloads, capabilities, and consumer base we serve. Orchestrating and operating thousands of Spark cluster deployments is a complex distributed system problem which the team invests heavily in runtime optimization, systems architecture, multi-tenant scheduling, and end-user tooling. About the Role As a Senior Software Engineer on Spark Platform, you will set the technical direction for our in-house Spark deployment and shape the architecture that will run DoorDash's data, analytics, and ML compute for the next five years and beyond. You will own the deep, cross-cutting problems that span the runtime, the shuffle service, the scheduler, and the overall service reliability — making the architectural calls that compound across the platform's lifetime. You will partner with the Engineering Manager on technical roadmap, hiring, and team shape, and act as the senior technical voice in cross-team partnerships with Data Engineering, ML Platform, and product engineering teams that depend on the platform. You must be located in San Francisco, Sunnyvale, Seattle, or New York City for this hybrid position. You will report into the Engineering Manager on our Spark Platform team. You're excited about this opportunity because you will… Set the multi-year technical direction for an in-house Spark-on-Kubernetes platform — runtime, shuffle, scheduler, reliability — and make the architectural calls that compound for years. Own the deepest distributed-systems problems on the team: shuffle architecture, multi-tenant scheduling, runtime performance, and the failure modes that only show up at scale. Our Mission You call. You wait. You call again. In every other part of your life, you book in seconds. In healthcare, you’re blocked. We’re here to give power to the patient. For nearly 20 years, we’ve built the leading healthcare marketplace - helping tens of millions of people find and book the care they need. Now, we’re going further: building our infrastructure beyond Zocdoc’s marketplace to power access to care wherever patients search, from provider websites and insurance directories to search engines, AI platforms, and more. Healthcare still lacks something every other major consumer industry takes for granted: a seamless way to go from seeking to getting . We don’t want to own the front door to care; there isn't one. We want to make sure all of those doors open when patients are knocking. Fixing healthcare starts with fixing access to it. And we're still just getting started. Your Impact on our Mission: Zocdoc is looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to make our distributed production systems more observable, reliable, and safe to change. Our platform connects patients, providers, and many interconnected services and integrations, so reliability depends on understanding the full path of a request—not just whether an individual service is running. You’ll help build the observability foundations, automation, and engineering practices that allow Zocdoc to move quickly without sacrificing safety. You’ll work across cloud infrastructure, microservices, APIs, and integration points in AWS, partnering closely with product engineering teams to identify risks, improve operational visibility, and make the right behavior easier to build and operate. You’ll enjoy this role if you are… Passionate about observability and believe that teams can’t reliably operate what they can’t see Experienced in integration-rich environments where APIs, third-party dependencies, asynchronous workflows, and distributed services create complex failure mode

As a Senior Product Manager for the Marketplace, you will own the strategy and execution for making Snowflake the definitive destination where third-party AI agents are built, governed, distributed, and monetized. You will act as a general manager operating at the intersection of platform engineering, developer ecosystems, and commercial strategy—connecting partner innovation directly to enterprise customer adoption. Interested in our recent momentum? Check out our H1 2026 update on Snowflake Marketplace & Agentic AI Growth for context on where we're heading and the foundation you'll be building on.
