This is a hands-on individual contributor role based in Hyderabad, working within a globally distributed engineering organisation spanning India, Australia, the UK and the United States. Company Name: tastytrade Role: Senior Site Reliability Engineer - Linux Systems & Application Observability Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid, 3 days/week in office) Role Summary Come join tastytrade, part of IG Group, as we build the reliability practice behind the brokerage platform that active options, futures, and equities traders rely on every market day. As our first Senior Site Reliability Engineer, you'll harden the systems behind order execution and market data delivery — designing for fault tolerance, closing gaps in our telemetry, and making sure our HashiCorp Nomad-based service fabric scales cleanly as trading volume grows. You'll work embedded alongside our infrastructure and application engineering teams, contributing directly to our Ruby, Java, and Elixir services. This is a rare opportunity to shape a practice and a culture from day one, on a platform where every order, quote, and position has to be right, because real client capital is on the line. What You'll Do (Job Responsibilities) • Build self-healing, fault-tolerant infrastructure and internal tooling that automates repetitive operational work and reduces toil for Platform and Application teams. • Run gap analysis across our observability stack to find blind spots in telemetry, logging, and alerting coverage, then close them so failures surface before customers feel them. • Own scalability work across our HashiCorp Nomad service fabric: capacity planning, load testing, and identifying architectural bottlenecks before they become incidents. • Extend our observability stack (Prometheus, Honeycomb, OpenTelemetry) with the instrumentation needed to actually see the failure modes above. • Set SLOs and error budgets with multi-window burn-rate alerting for critical brokerage flows, once the fault-tolerance and telemetry foundation is in place. • Mentor engineers across teams to build a culture of site reliability champions so the practice outlives any one person. Who You Are (Skills Needed) • Hands

Company: tastytrade Role: Senior Linux Infrastructure Engineer Location: Chicago, IL — Hybrid About the Role We are looking for a senior Linux engineer who is equal parts operator and builder. You will own the systems layer of our production environment — from the metal to the configuration management code. This is a hands-on role: you will jump into incidents, tackle challenging engineering problems, design systems that scale, and evaluate new software and architectures. This is not a role where the abstractions hide the machine. You are expected to be curious about what is underneath and to be the person other engineers come to when a system is behaving in a way nobody can explain. What You'll Do Own Linux performance. Diagnose and tune systems under real production load: CPU scheduling and NUMA placement, memory and page cache behavior, disk and filesystem I/O, and network stack tuning. Lead troubleshooting on hard problems. Work incidents methodically — form a hypothesis, find the cheapest test that falsifies it, and narrow the search rather than changing five things at once. Write postmortems, organize follow-up tasks, and future-proof the environment so the same issue does not recur. Write and maintain configuration management code. Build infrastructure declaratively with Salt, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet, treating that code with the same standards as application code: reviewed, tested, and version-controlled. Run containerized workloads. Build, deploy, and operate services on Kubernetes or Nomad, including scheduling behavior, resource limits, health checking, and the failure modes that only appear under contention. Automate in Bash and Python. Replace manual runbooks with tooling and streamline repeatable work. Operate core network services. Troubleshoot TCP/IP with confidence and bring solid networking fundamentals. Manage DNS and DHCP as production ser

Beacon Biosignals is transforming precision medicine for the brain, from clinical development to clinical care. For Life Sciences partners, we offer the leading at-home EEG platform for clinical development of novel therapeutics for neurological, psychiatric, and sleep disorders. Our Diagnostics business is building the most comprehensive at-home platform for precision diagnostics, combining EEG and cardiopulmonary signals to deliver reimbursable assessments for sleep and central nervous system disorders. Together, we're changing the way patients are diagnosed and treated for any disorder that affects brain physiology. Beacon is hiring a Senior Commercial Contracts Manager to own our contracting process end to end. We are looking for a highly experienced contracts professional with a paralegal or contracts administration background. What matters most is your negotiation expertise, not the credential behind it. You will report directly to the General Counsel and be Beacon’s primary point of contact for drafting, negotiating, and closing customer and supplier agreements, including pharma and biopharma collaboration agreements, clinical trial services agreements, home sleep testing partnerships, and vendor and supplier contracts. Because patient EEG and sleep data is Beacon’s core commercial asset, you will need to be fluent in data rights: ownership, licensing scope, and secondary-use restrictions. You should also have a working knowledge of the HIPAA and GDPR issues that commonly arise in life sciences and health data contracting. Beacon's robust asynchronous work practices ensure a first-class remote work experience, but we also have in-person office hubs located in Boston and New York. What You’ll Do Own the full contract lifecycle for customer and vendor agreements: drafting, negotiation, redlining, and execution from initial term sheet through signature and integration with Beacon systems. Conduct negotiations on pharma and biopharma collaboration agreement
