Every day, tens of millions of people come to Roblox to explore, create, play, learn, and connect with friends in 3D immersive digital experiences– all created by our global community of developers and creators. At Roblox, we’re building the tools and platform that empower our community to bring any experience that they can imagine to life. Our vision is to reimagine the way people come together, from anywhere in the world, and on any device. We’re on a mission to connect a billion people with optimism and civility, and looking for amazing talent to help us get there. A career at Roblox means you’ll be working to shape the future of human interaction, solving unique technical challenges at scale, and helping to create safer, more civil shared experiences for everyone. Why Safety AI Systems? As Senior Engineering Manager for Safety AI Systems at Roblox, you'll lead technical efforts and manage a team of experienced engineers to develop innovative AI solutions for multimodal content safety. You’ll oversee machine learning systems, constructing multimodal model architectures, improving data quality, training pipelines, and model performance to address challenges like real-time multi-verse content understanding and advanced moderation with large vision language models, spanning avatars, images, videos, audios, text, code / data models, and their composites. In close collaboration with product, policy, and Trust & Safety teams, you'll design large-scale systems to detect and mitigate abusive behavior before it harms the community. You'll own critical services at massive scale, balancing user freedom with platform civility to protect and empower our users. The Software Systems Engineering team is responsible for defining SW development processes and ensuring that all safety-critical software meets a high safety bar for production vehicles. In this role, you will design and implement methodologies, tools, and processes for safety-critical software that will revolutionize transportation in the 21st century. Borrowing principles from avionics, automotive, and other safety-critical industries, you will work with software engineers throughout the Zoox software org, ranging from state-of-the-art AI Autonomy software, all the way to highly-critical RTOS and middleware components. In this role, you will: Be the go-to owner for the entire SSE pipeline ecosystem — from ClangTidy, ASAN/TSAN/Harden, and FBInfer — keeping every pipeline running smoothly across weekly, nightly, and CI so the rest of the org can trust the results. Take pipelines from prototypes to fully deployed, CI-enforced systems across branches, shaping how "production-grade" looks for stability tooling at Zoox. Turn raw issue data into dashboards and KPIs that tell a story — giving leadership and engineering teams a clear, real-time pulse on pipeline health and software quality trends. Play detective when things break — root-causing gnarly cross-platform and determinism, building the instrumentation and tooling to crack them. Help shape what's next for the pipeline suite — pitching in on new checker rollouts, testing strategy, and define how SSE scales its infrastructure Qualifications: Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in computer science, electrical engineering, robotics, aerospace, or r
This team owns what it takes for an organization to trust the AI it runs in production, from the GPU infrastructure that trains and serves models, to the agents and LLM systems built on top of it, to the cost and return those systems deliver to the business. When something fails, this team's work explains why and shows how it's affecting the outcomes customers actually care about. It's a fast-moving space with few established patterns, which gives this team real room to define what best-in-class looks like. As Senior Design Manager, you'll lead a team of four designers across these three connected product areas, going deep enough on the domain (AI training and development workflows, evaluations, GPU infrastructure, agent debugging) to raise the quality bar, sharpen the product point of view, and mentor the team already doing this work. This is a leadership role built around modern, AI-native design practice: you'll lead and grow a team that builds directly in code rather than handing off static mocks, and you should have the capability to prototype and ship yourself where it has the most impact. What You'll Do: Go deep on the domain (AI training/development workflows, evals, GPU infrastructure, agent debugging) to the point of having independent, well-informed points of view Drive end-to-end product experiences across Agent Observability, GPU Monitoring, and Agent Console, ensuring coherence across the three surfaces Prototype and ship directly in code where it has the most impact, to demonstrate direction and quality, not as a substitute for the team's own execution Lead and coach a team of four designers, raising their craft, product thinking, and fluency building with AI-native tools Conduct regular 1:1s and career conversations; foster psychological safety and a culture of continuous improvement Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to shape strategy, prioritization, and roadmap direction Set and maintain a high bar for design quality across all output

About the Team & Role: We're building SAGE , Rubrik's Semantic AI Governance Engine, which is the first system designed to monitor, govern, and remediate autonomous AI agents in real time. SAGE powers Rubrik Agent Cloud: enterprises define governance policies in natural language, and SAGE's custom small language models act as judges on every agent action. These models are fast enough to sit in the live request path and accurate enough that customers trust them with allow/block decisions on production traffic. At its core, SAGE is "LLM-as-judge" applied to AI governance, utilizing the same technique most teams use for offline evaluation but productionized for real-time enforcement at enterprise scale. Our first-generation SLM Policy Guard already outperforms the larger frontier models we've benchmarked against on accuracy while running approximately 5x faster on the same workload. We're hiring to push that lead even further. As an Applied ML Engineer on the SAGE team, you'll work end-to-end across the model lifecycle: curating data, training small models, serving them at production latency, and closing the feedback loop with real customer signals. The models you build don't just enforce policies in the live request path; they will also drive Agent Rewind, Rubrik's capability to instantly and precisely undo destructive autonomous-agent actions and restore the affected data to a trusted state. We're a collaborative, applied team that ships models to enterprise customers within weeks, and we're passionate about proving that small, specialized models can outperform frontier LLMs at the problems that matter most for AI safety and governance. Nature of the Specialized Duties ➢ Training, Fine-Tuning, and Distilling Production Small Language Models and Classifiers (25% of time) Owning the full training lifecycle for the SLMs and classifiers in SAGE's real-time enforcement path, including base-model selection, supervised fine-tuning, preference optimization (DPO/RLA

About the Team The Social Engineering org builds the experiences that connect millions of people around the world: friends, messaging, communities, presence, and notifications. Quality is central to earning the trust of our community, and we're looking for someone to raise the bar for how we build and ship. About the Role We're hiring a Senior Quality Engineer to embed directly within Social Engineering, partnering with engineers, product managers, designers, and Trust & Safety teams. This is a step-level change agent role. You'll be expected to reshape how quality is built, measured, and automated, not just operate within the systems you inherit. You'll set direction, drive adoption of new ways of working, and resolve conflict independently, with AI-native engineering as a core lever. You Will: Reshape how quality works Define and drive the quality strategy for your area, and replace processes, tooling, and release practices that limit speed or confidence Identify systemic quality gaps across teams and lead initiatives from proposal through org-wide adoption Set and evolve the quality bar: release criteria, SLOs, quality metrics, and testability standards other teams adopt Lead AI-driv
